Pamphlet 1652 Micah 13-1

Corruption and all that is evil shall cease in our land
and upon the whole earth for that matter.

We have come to 7th and final chapter of the Book of Micah, written by the prophet whose name means "Who is like Yah?" and who came from the town of Moresheth-gath (vs. 1:14) which means "Possession of the Winepress (Gath)." In this great work we found that Micah joins the blowing of the trumpet and the sounding of the alarm with his fellow servants and not only makes the PROCLAMATION (Here ye, hear ye!) that this world is GOING TO FIND OUT REAL SOON who it is that "possesses the Winepress" and treads it, but he also gives us the express details of the reasons why?

You see, it all begins with the "transgression of Jacob" and the "sin of Samaria", which is the idolatry of our people who have been lead astray from the Word of God where justice and truth abide and instead are taught to follow after the traditions of men. This has resulted in a "famine" in our land which as brother Amos writes in his book concerning these last days, is a famine for the hearing of the Word of God, not a famine for bread nor a thirst for water... Amos 8:11 "Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:" Oh, don't misunderstand! We hear a lot about Jesus! It's just that His Word is not taught chapter by chapter and line by line but by a few and so we as a nation are void of the knowledge of His wisdom have become as such a nation of Biblical illiterates.

Take the subjects of murder and capital punishment as an example. The 6th Commandment in Ex. 20:13 states that "Thou shalt not kill" (ratsach in Hebrew, which means premeditated murder.) And what should the punishment be for one who does "lie in wait" (premeditate) and commit murder? God says just a few verses later in chapter 21 that he or she is to be killed, executed:

Exodus 21:12
He that smiteth a man, so that he die, shall be surely put to death.
Of course if it is not premeditated murder then the punishment is not death.
[13] And if a man lie not in wait, but God deliver him into his hand; then I will appoint thee a place whither he shall flee.
The mainstream media and their "left handed" (ideologically) bedfellows in government and even many who call themselves of the "right" persuasion have stood up and called us Americans a "barbaric" people. In fact, there are many "bleeding heart" Christians who do not believe in capital punishment. You know what? They are either ignorant of God's Word or they do not believe God's Word.

And so it is because of the famine, the lack of knowledge of His Word and the doing thereof, that moral pestilences abound and corruption and injustices have infested our institutions both civil and ecclesiastic. Therefore our Father shall send the Assyrian (the false-christ) and MANY shall fall (into captivity) by the (spiritual) sword.

Isaiah 5:13
Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst. .
The honorable men, i.e. men who make judgments, be they senators, governors, judges, ministers, etc., are starved for the wisdom which comes from the Word of God. Their laws and their judgments therefore are not honorable and so it is written that those who should judge righteously and who do not repent of their ways, are going down! They shall be tread-ees indeed.
[14] Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
This verse speaks for itself. Corruption and all that is evil shall cease in our land and upon the whole earth for that matter and every knee shall bow to the King of kings and Lord of lords when He returns to rule with a rod of iron, which by the way is simply to govern with fairness and equity in adhering (with discipline) to the truth and justice of His righteous Word. The should-be-most-honorable will no longer rip off his or her flock, his or her neighbors, or his or her constituents.
[15] And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:
The word is "bow" before the LORD of hosts!
[16] But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.
You know, our Father is so completely just and fair to all (He is not a respecter of persons - Acts 10:34) that it makes one wonder why so many men and women do not turn to Him and revere Him and walk humbly with Him, i.e. follow His ways that bring peace and happiness and blessings. Haven't we SEEN and EXPERIENCED ENOUGH of the pain and suffering and curses caused by "famine" and "thirst"? No, there is none like unto our Father and His righteousness.
Jeremiah 10:6
Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.

[7] Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.

To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
