None of us will stop the onslaught of Satan's locust army.

Isaiah 5:27
None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken:
None of us will stop the onslaught of Satan's locust army.

They are well organized and as it is written in the great Book of Joel,
they run like mighty men and "they shall not break their ranks".

Joel 2:7-8 "They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war;
and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks."

[28] Whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent, their horses' hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind:
Those sharp arrows cannot penetrate the gospel armor of God.

By the way, are you familiar with the "horses" and "whirlwinds" described in the scriptures?

Have you ever read about the highly polished bronze whirling vehicles in Ezekiel chapter one?


[29] Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it.
This is simply another analogous description of how awesome Satan's angelic host shall be.

In Revelation 9:8-9 we read how they will appear gentle as women but spiritually
they will rip and shred and tear our people to pieces with their massive cheek teeth.

Rev. 9:8-9
And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.
Again, "having hair as the hair of women" means they will appear to be gentle,
but what they do with their mouths is another matter, a spiritually destructive matter!
[9] And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.
These are the breastplates not of soldiers but rather the breastplates of priests, for they shall appear as angels of light!

But they shall spew forth their flood of lies and deceits and cause the whole world to worship after the beast and fall before the false-christ.

Isaiah 5:30
And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.
Can you "look unto the land" even now and "behold darkness and sorrow"?

The light of truth is slowly but surely being snuffed out
as the smoke from the pit has already greatly darkened the spiritual atmosphere.

Rev. 9:2 "And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace;
and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit."

Even so, we are yet to enter into the greatest period of spiritual darkness the world has ever known
when "the moon" (symbolic of Satan) comes and totally eclipses the sun (symbolic of Christ),
i.e. Satan comes disguised and posing as Jesus Christ.

Yes, that day when the 6th Trump sounds and the son of perdition, that abomination of desolation,
Satan himself, is cast from heaven to this earth and comes and stands in the holy place claiming to be God,
will far surpass all the Dark Ages of history.

However, it shall not be dark for the children of light who walk in His ways,
those who have awaken to the truth and have come out of the spiritual darkness and drunkenness of Babylon the great.

Are you a child of Light?

Let us conclude today's study with the Word of God spoken through Paul concerning the light and the darkness.

1 Thes. 5:4-11
But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

[5] Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

We never walk in darkness because we dwell in the light of truth.
[6] Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
Be sober minded and do the work of the watchman!
[7] For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
We've covered the spiritual drunkenness this is referring to.
[8] But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
Keep the gospel armour on and in place.
[9] For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
His children of light are not the objects of the woes nor the recipients of His wrath that shall be poured out upon the ungodly.
[10] Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.

[11] Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

Take great comfort in knowing that our Father is in charge and in complete control...
even of the locust army He sends against His people to chastise them
for "casting away the law of the LORD of hosts, and
despising the word of the Holy One of Israel."

He is so good to us and we thank Him for all He has done.

To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
