Pamphlet 6129 KC Isaiah 33-1 xxxx
The fact is no one will expecting Christ to return because they will think He is already here.
We are fast approaching the culmination of the events
Jesus Christ foretold us of in Matthew 24 and Mark 13,
all of which He said would take place before the final
generation of the fig tree passes away (Mark 13:30).
The question is, "How do we know when that final generation takes place?"
The answer is that all one has to do is obey the Lord's command to learn the Parable of the Fig Tree (Mark 13:28).
Then once he or she knows what happened in the fig grove
and can tell the difference between the "good figs"
and "the bad figs" that were both set out in the land
of Judea according to Jeremiah 24,
then he or she will know that the event that took place
on May 15, 1948,
when the UN gave way to the Zionist movement and established
the nation of Israel,
marked the beginning of that final generation!
That is how we know that there will be Baby Boomers,
the generation that coincides with the fig tree generation,
who will see the return of Christ.
Of course people are desirous to know "when the final end (telos in Greek) of this flesh age shall be".
Well, our Father has reserved the exact time unto Himself
because of His longsuffering desire
to allow sufficient time for "whosoever will" to repent
and turn to Him.
Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack
concerning his promise, as some men count slackness;
but is longsuffering to us-ward,
not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
However, Christ did tell us that if we will take heed
(blepo) to all the things He foretold us
and put two and two together (suneimi) then we
can know how close we are getting.
Mark 13:29 "So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors."
To that end, we have now passed the bloodiest century
of "wars" (Mat. 24:6) in the history of mankind,
the 20th century,
and have entered the era of a New World Order with an
emphasis on the globalization of trade and commerce
and the merging of economies and currencies and governing
powers and yes... even religions.
Thus the sign of globalization Christ foretold us of,
declaring that the ethnic nations and the kingdom (ruling)
nations of the world
would rise up alongside one another in the market place
(Mat. 24:7), has likewise come to pass.
Tyre ("little rock" in Hebrew) has been revisited
(Isa. 23:17) and the harlot now sings her sweet melodious song
to the kings and rulers of the earth who are all too
eager to jump in bed with her
and taste of "the abundance of her delicacies (Rev. 18:3)".
Isaiah 23:17
And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that the LORD will visit Tyre, and she shall turn to her hire, and shall commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth.Rev. 18:3
For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath (thumos, passion) of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
You "see", they shall all be deceived into believing he is indeed God (2 Thes.2:4-12).
Rev. 13:11
And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
In other words, he will have the two powers (horns) of
the King of kings (world ruler) and Lord of lords (high priest),
and as it is written, he will cause them "that dwell
on the earth" to participate in
and follow after (worship) the New World Order, the first
beast of Rev. 13:1.
Rev. 13:12
And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.[13] And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
[14] And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
However, when antichrist's five month reign (Rev. 9:4)
is over
and the "overspreading of his abominations (Dan. 9:27)"
is complete,
i.e. his filthy idolatry has made the world a spiritually
desolate place,
then the true King of kings and Lord of lords shall come
and smite the beast and the spiritual orgy will be over.
That judgment upon a world filled with abominations and
led by the abominable one
who makes desolate the souls of men is what we are reading
about in the 24th chapter of Isaiah, so let us continue.
Isaiah 24:9
They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.
You "see", when antichrist arrives with his host of angels
(Rev. 12:7-9)
he will cause the "daily sacrifice to cease (Dan.11:31)",
which is our communion to Jesus Christ who is our sacrifice,
even our Passover (1 Cor. 5:7).
In other words, the false messiah, the instead-of-Christ
(anti-christ),
causes the communion Christians take to Jesus Christ
to be given unto him (thus taking it away)
because he will claim that he is the Christ, the Messiah
returned, and the whole world will believe him.
That is why it is written that Jesus comes as "a thief
in the night",
which is simply an expression that means unexpectedly.
The fact is no one will expecting Christ because they will think He is already here.
But when He does come at the sound of the 7th Trump
, their reveling and eating and drinking at the great
wedding feast of the false messiah
will come to an abrupt end and
their wickedness
will be exposed to the light of truth,
which is the brightness of His coming.
[10] The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in.
The city of "tohu" is therefore the city of "desolation",
even that great city of Babylon in these last days which
we are commanded to come out of in Rev. 18:4.
That great city is headed by Satan himself,
who is the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel
the prophet,
the desolator who comes and stands in the holy place
proclaiming himself to be God (2 Thes. 2:4).
The point is that there is going to be a great cleansing
take place when Jesus Christ returns
because Babylon the Great is going to fall (Rev. 18:2)
and be utterly destroyed!
You "see", there is nothing new under the sun
and this flesh age is going to end in like manner as
did the first earth age
when the cup of our Father's wrath was filled to the
full and He poured it out.
And so it is that the great city is going to be "broken
down"
even as the cities in the first earth age were broken
down by the wrath of God's judgment.
Jeremiah 4:26
I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by His fierce anger.
Hebrews 12:29 "For our God is a consuming fire."
2 Peter 3:10
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Their joy shall turn to darkness and shame shall cover their faces.
Many shall wish for the mountains and hills to fall upon
them rather than have to face the LORD,
the Light of all truth and justice.
Rev. 6:16-17 "And said to the mountains
and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on
the throne,
and from the wrath of the Lamb:
[17] For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"
Rev. 18:9 "And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning... [11] And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:"Isaiah 24:11
There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone.
[12] In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction.
[13] When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done.
You "see", the harvest time at the end of
this flesh age is soon upon us and the question is,
"Unto whom will you be gathered?"
It is written that the son of perdition comes first (2
Thes. 2) and gathers his crowd unto him
before the true Messiah returns and gathers His elect,
that small remnant likened unto those few olives left
after a great shaking of the tree!
Remember we saw this analogy back in the 17th chapter concerning the harvest.
Here's an excerpt:
"Those fruitful servants of the Most High who do have the seal of God in their foreheads shall remain spiritually alive and well right up to the coming of true husbandman!Thank God for the remnant who endure and are left behind, for they shall be saved! That is exactly what Christ said in Matthew 24:13 "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."Isaiah 17:6 Yet gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an olive tree, two or three berries in the top of the uppermost bough, four or five in the outmost fruitful branches thereof, saith the LORD God of Israel. Those "remainers" (remnant) who remain true to the Word of God are the wise virgins who filled their lamps with that rich "olive oil" that is symbolic of the Spirit of God and is obtained only by studying and absorbing the Word of God. You "see", they shall not be shaken by the earthquakes nor swallowed up in the great flood of lies and deception in these last days. And remember what Isaiah said in the very first chapter:endure, hupomeno, hoop-om-en'-o, Greek 5278; from Greek 5259 (hupo) and Greek 3306 (meno); to stay under (behind), i.e. remain; figurative to undergo, i.e. bear (trials), have fortitude, persevere :- abide, endure, (take) patient (-ly), suffer, tarry behind. If it were not for that remnant, that "seed" who are the sons and daughters of Acts 2 and the brothers and sisters of the churches of Philadelphia and Smyrna, i.e. God's elect, we would all be as Sodom and Gomorrah... zapppppp! So why is it that only the remnant will remain? Well, as the next verse explains, it is because they look to the Creator (and to Zion that the LORD has founded) and they give attention (respect) to the Holy One of Israel because they love Him and obey His commands. John 14:15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments."Isaiah 1:9
Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.
Isaiah 24:14
They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea.
To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits;
to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy
Spirit, you accomplish both.
