Pamphlet #6172  Isaiah 46-2

Do you have eyes to see and ears to hear the Spirit of truth!

Remember we learned in previous studies that the New World Order, which is not new at all but rather the same old Satanic system present at the end of the first earth age (cp. Rev. 12:4 & Rev. 13:1), is going to be "smashed to smithereens" by our ROCK, that true stone cut out without hands (Dan. 2:34)! And as it is written here in Isaiah, "they ALL shall FAIL together", both the confederacy of the New World Order and all those who support Satan's attempt to bring about world peace without God, without acknowledging the Prince of Peace, even Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 31:4 For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on [or over] his prey [i.e. protecting it], when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself [give in to them] for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof.
The pictorial analogy given to us here is that the false shepherds can shout all they want... but the LORD like as a lion, for He is the very LION of JUDAH, the KING OF KINGS, will not be daunted in His purpose to fight for and protect that which is His beloved, even Mt. Zion, even Jerusalem. It SHALL come to pass exactly as it written that the LORD WILL, not maybe, come forth "roaring like a Lion (Hos. 10:11)" to fight for Mount Zion and for the hill, even Moriah that means "seen" or "chosen of God". You "see", Jerusalem was "chosen" by God and she belongs to Him! Have you ever read how the LORD God chose Jerusalem, even took her to wife as it is written and documented in the great 16th chapter of Ezekiel, to be His dwelling place for all eternity. Is there any wonder then that Jerusalem has been the scene of more wars and bloodshed that any other city in the history of the world? Is there any wonder then that this is the very place that the abomination of desolation (spoken of by Daniel the prophet), even antichrist himself, shall come stand where he ought not and claim to be God, even the Messiah returned? Again, it is written that when he is cast out of heaven and comes to this earth defacto, the whole world will be deceived (Rev. 12:9) and shall fall down before Him ... becoming those apostates we read of in the first verse. That is why Christ told His disciples concerning that temple, the false one set up by the spurious messiah in Jerusalem, that it shall be destroyed so completely that there will not be one stone (false stone) left standing upon another.

Here's another analogy of how the LORD will defend His own, even Jerusalem.

[5]As birds flying [or fluttering], so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also He will deliver it; and passing over He will preserve it.
Those who trust and rely on the LORD their God and the Rock of His salvation (Ps. 62:2, 6), even the Living Word of God, not only have His divine protection in the wilderness, but they have the victory in Him. This analogy of a bird fluttering over her nest and protecting her young is found elsewhere in the scriptures, including the great Song of Moses, which is the song the overcomers of the beast, those who have the victory in Christ, are singing in the 15th chapter of Revelation.
Deut. 32:11
As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:
We read the same analogy in the New Testament in the 12th chapter of Revelation.
Rev. 12:14
And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
The "great eagle" is symbolic of our heavenly Father. You "see", when Satan, that low-life serpent, is cast out of heaven with his angels and comes defacto to reign on the earth, the whole earth will become a wilderness, a spiritual desert, a world full of darkness and spiritual desolation indeed. However, the good news is for those who love and serve and trust in the LORD their God, is that He has promised to nourish, as in protect and nuture, and take care of His own. As for the rest... well, remember we learned in our last study that they will become prey for the dirty birds to feast upon their "spiritually dead" carcasses.

So the relevant question is: "Will you turn to Him, to the Lord your God, or will you be among His many children in the land of the free who have deeply revolted* against Him by ignoring the truth of His Word?" It is a choice set before each and every one of us by our heavenly Father (read Deut. 30:15-20). We can either dwell under His protecting outstretched wings or we can be objects of the pouring out of His wrath when He comes.

Isaiah 31:6
Turn ye unto Him from whom the children of Israel have deeply revolted*.
Remember the subject of this chapter is "apostasy", both individual and national. And though it is written that the majority of our people are going to revolt (carah, apostatize) and therefore stumble and fall before the false messiah, you need not be among them IF you are willing to "Turn unto Him".
*revolted, c*arah, saw-raw', Hebrew 5627; from Hebrew 5493 (c*uwr); apostasy, crime; figurative remission :- × continual, rebellion, revolt ([-ed]), turn away, wrong.
Paul warned of this "deep revolting" or "great apostasy" in 2 Thes. 2. While the false shepherds are preaching an any-moment rapture theory, declaring that Jesus Christ can return at any moment, the true shepherds are teaching what the Word of God says... and that is that our gathering together with Christ SHALL NOT happen UNTIL the great apostasy occurs and the son of perdition, Satan that old serpent, the abominable one who makes desolate the land, comes and sits in the temple of God, right where he ought not, and deceives the whole world into believing he is Jesus come to rapture them away.
2 Thes. 2:1-3
Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
The subject is our gathering back to Christ at His return and when that shall happen.
[2] That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
There is absolutely no reason whatsoever to have a question in your mind or wonder about the chronological order of the events to take place in this final generation. Remember Jesus Christ told us in Mark 13:23 "But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things." So stick to what the Word of God says and don't listen to men espouse theories! You "see", what Paul is teaching us here is NOT THEORETICAL but the plain and simple truth of the matter.
[3] Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
You do not need a college degree, nor a seminary degree, nor any other of man's BS degrees in order to understand the simplicity of what Paul is teaching. He simply states that Jesus Christ is not going to return until the false messiah, Satan, the son of perdition, the only son who has so far been sentenced to perish (Ezek. 28:18-19), first comes and sits in the temple of God, showing himself (to all the world) that he is God. That has not happened yet!
[4] Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Again, you have a choice! You can either believe that which is written and foretold of in the Word of God, or you can be among those who revolt, who apostatize, because they are deceived by all sorts of means, especially by their preachers and teachers who follow after the vain (empty, non-saving) traditions of men.
Isaiah 31:7
For in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which your own hands have made unto you for a sin.
This final generation of the fig tree which was planted on May 15, 1948, which is commonly called the generation of the Baby Boomers, has truly "waxed fat", as in become a generation of "fat cats" where peace and prosperity abound. To that end, their focus, i.e. their priorities, has turned more and more to the things of this world and further and further away from the foundation that made this nation great, and that foundation which even our beloved Constitution is taken from, is the Word of God. This turning away by this generation from His Word, due to our prosperity, can be found in the Song of Moses in Deuteronomy 32.
Deut. 32:15
But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.
"Jeshurun" is a figurative name for Israel in her prosperity. Our people have indeed "grown thick", as in become "thick headed", and because they are rich and increased with goods they have need of nothing, or better yet "need of no one" other than themselves, to give thanks and honor and praise to for their blessings. However, the truth of the matter is that though they are materially blessed, they are spiritually blind and naked and destitute because they have revolted (apostatized), i.e. forsaken the Word of God!
Rev. 3:17
Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
They need to mentally and spiritually "cast away their idols of silver and their idols of gold" from the foremost thing in their minds and begin obtaining the only real wealth there is, the gold contained in the Word of God, whereby they may become spiritually rich and become clothed with His righteousness so that they will not have to appear ashamed and spiritually naked when He returns.
Rev. 3:18
I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

[22] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Do you have eyes to see and ears to hear the Spirit of truth, because those Christians who are all caught up in their worldly possessions and careers, etc., cannot "see" what is being said, because the Word of God is not in them, i.e. they are Biblically illiterate?
John 14:17
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
Those who do know the Word of God know what shall befall this final generation and that both Satan and his New World Order are going to come to crashing down at the sound of the 7th Trump when the King of kings and Lord of lords comes with His mighty sharp two-edged sword to smite the nations and rule them with a rod of iron. It is written and so shall it come to pass!
Rev. 19:15
And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
Yes, Satan and his blasphemous New World Order are going to be crushed by our Rock and the nations shall be smitten by the sword of God at the sound of the 7th Trump!
Isaiah 31:8
Then shall the Assyrian fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him: but he shall flee from the sword, and his young men shall be discomfited.
You can either believe it now and begin trusting in the Lord your God... or you can align yourself with "Egypt", with the United-For-Greed-Nations of the New World Order, and end up running and trying to hide because you were on the Woe side at the Woe time because you trusted in the Woe thing!
[9] And he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his princes shall be afraid of the ensign, saith the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.
Yes, it'll be "a hot time in the old town" of Jerusalem when you see the brightness of the Lord's coming (2 Thes. 2:8)! And then you can run... but you cannot hide. You "see", sooner or later you will face the Lord Jesus Christ because He SHALL come against the house of evildoers and oust every last one them out of the temple. There will be a "Shock and Awe" such as this world has never experienced when they see His ensign, His Chariot of Fire, the very "Chariot of Israel" and the horsemen thereof (2 Kings 2:12)"... even with that ensign of the Eagle on its wings (Ezk. 1:10)!

Remember too that God is a consuming fire (Heb. 12:29) and we learned in our last study that His fire which shall begin in Jerusalem shall burn with a fervent heat and melt away (completely destroy) all the "elements", meaning all the evil rudiments, as well as all works of iniquity on earth. It is written and so shall it be.

What a time we have yet to look forward to. Our heavenly Father is in complete control and His promises are as sure to be fulfilled as the sun is to rise in the morning. You can always count on Him to be faithful and true, but such is not the case with man. Therefore turn to Him and trust in the Lord.."...Hearken diligently unto His commandments which He commands you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul (Deut. 11:13)."

To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
