Amos Introduction

#1338 Get a visual PICTURE of the way things will be spiritually in these last days.

#1339 In plain and simple terms, Amos saw the spiritual condition of our nation two years before the return of Christ! ... WOW!

#1340   The LORD will soon come and roar from Zion

#1341   "Prepare WAR!" ... "for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.

#1342And how is Jesus Christ described when He returns?

#1343God does not take kindly to those individuals or nations who cheat, rob, take captive, oppress or kill His children. Would you?

#1344And what about the rest of the Free World, the Christian nations?

#1345What other transgressions of America are to be discovered two years before the great earthquake?

#1346So what else has our Father done for us that we are ungrateful for and despise?

#1347The King of kings is coming with His mighty army of saints and it will be a joyful day for those wise virgins who shall be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye

#1348"How many church going Christians in America do you think have heard and understood these words contained in the Book of Amos, words that the LORD has specifically spoken unto them?"

#1349Do you realize what Amos 3:7 tells us? It says that EVERYTHING that is "going down" in this final generation is WRITTEN IN THE PROPHETS, revealed through them unto to those who love the Lord!

#1350There should be many skilful teachers in this land of the free and home of brave teaching the words of Amos the herdman and his fellow prophets!
WHERE ARE THEY?

#1351 Amos declares that in these last days there would be (and there is) a great "famine, not for bread or a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord (Amos 8:11-13)".

#1352The religious leaders also do not know how to do right in the churches of this land and they do eat from the very same tree which our Father told Adam and Eve to stay away from and worse yet, they pass that wicked fruit along to His people, many of whom shall be seduced (spiritually) as was Eve (physically). Woe!

#1353The MANY prophets, i.e. Christian preachers, priests, etc., (though some mean well but are simply Biblically illiterate themselves) have deceived our brothers and sisters into believing the traditions of men.

#1354There shall be no more "golden calves" (idolatrous worship) in the land of the free and home of the brave.

#1355So hear this O' fat-cows: both religious and civil leaders.

#1356Now here is something that really stinks, because it is religious!

#1357It is written that many will run and hide and wish the mountains to fall upon them rather than face the King of kings and Lord of lords.

#1358 Are you part of the House of Israel? You had better "get a clue", and real soon!

#1359How does one acquire the Gospel Armor? By going to church and listening to preachers? No, by seeking the LORD through His Word.

#1360  Not in use

#1361"Preachers" and "Princes", you all better get your act together real fast.

#1362How wise a virgin are you? How do you seek God?

#1363Christians in this generation MUST learn the difference between the holy and the profane.

#1364Many Christians are in for a big surprise concerning the Day of the LORD.

#1365How is it then that we have become a nation of such Biblical illiterates when we have multiple Bibles in every home?

#1366   Not in use

#1367When God says "woe" to someone they had better watch out.

#1368Our fat-cat politicians are part of our problem not the solution.

#1369Next we learn what shall happen to those "chief men and women" who are leading our country:

#1370God, our Father, shows Amos several "visions" of the last days, even of the time of trouble called the great tribulation.

#1371May God grant you the spiritual "eyes to see" and understand these visions of Amos?

#1372So according to the words of Jesus Christ, preachers are a big problem in our land.

#1373Concerning Preachers; be sure to check out what they say in the Word of God to see if what they say is true! Not slightly twisting God's Word and His words to make it appear that God said something which He did not.

Yes, the Book of Amos has been quite rough on the churches.

#1375   Do you get your fruit from the great Evergreen, the Tree of Life, the Word of God, or from fast talking preachers?

#1376 God will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD

#1377Christians are wandering from one church to another today, and not finding the truth from the Word of God taught.

#1378Does it make sense to you that if the majority of Christians are deceived as Christ said they would be, that it would be the majority of the preachers who are deceiving them, as Christ also said it would be so?

#1379It is just remarkable that Amos was shown by God thousands of years ago the curses (pestilences) of our day.

#1380Worshipping antichrist while believing he is actually the real Jesus IS the sin of Samaria, i.e. the sin of America and Great Britain and Canada and those Christian nations who have now become distressed and oppressed and afflicted at the hand of the locust nation.

#1381So there is good news because the Plan of God, though it entails tough love, is designed to bring His children, even of all nations, into His loving arms.

#1382If you do not wish to hear His Voice and just go to Bethel (church) and listen to Amaziah (a preacher), and sing some songs, and place your sacrifice in the plate, that is your decision. Your Father has given you free will and you are executing it. How are you doing with it?
