Question. Who are these people God is asking the Israelites to exterminate?

By reading Genesis Jude you will find the answer!

Genesis 6:1  ¶And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2  That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.3  ¶And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. 4  ¶There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.5  And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6  ¶And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7  And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

2 Peter 2:4-5
For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; [5] And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

Have you not read enough to see what happened. Those angel who "kept not their first estate", our brothers in heaven, who did not wait their turn to come to earth, to be born in the flesh as God instructed we were all to do, in our turn, acording to His time table. They came to earth without His blessing, by-passing the being born to woman part, and inpregnated Adam's daughters.  Did you read, and I quote from verse 4 of Genesis chapter 6, "and they bare children to them".  These children and grand-children and descendants of the children are the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; that the LORD thy God commanded the Israelites toexterminate.

This was also the reason for Noah's flood!  Noah, his wife, their three sons and their son's wives were the only eight prue-blooded Adamites left on earth; therefore, the flood. The problem is there was a second influx of angels/us, who did the very same thing, after the flood. God could not allow this to continue, because His plan was for Christ Jesus to be born into this world of a flesh and blood woman, a pure blooded descendant of Adam and Eve, in order to bring salvation to mankind.
