Micah 6

What will it take to bring our people to the realization that Christianity
is not a religion?

What will it take to show our brothers and sisters that straying from the Word of God is the root cause of our nation's ills as we can "see" our moral foundation crumble and our national sovereignty being taken away by the Beast of Revelation 13:1, i.e. the NWO?

In this study we are going to discover what it is that our Father would have us do, and you know what? It is not just going to church and giving sacrifice of tithes and offerings and participating in wonderful humanitarian works in the name of Christ. In fact, one can do all those things and on the day of the great wedding find himself or herself on the outside looking in.

Here are Jesus Christ's own words:

Matthew 7:21-23
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Do you know what your Father's "will" is? It is His Word! And He wants us to be just and love Him and to humbly walk with Him, i.e. abide in His Word (Micah 6:8). Religious ceremonies and rituals and church activities and following after the traditions of men while ignoring His Word are simply NOT what pleases Him.
[22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
These MANY, are our Christian brothers and sisters who would rather listen to preachers and ministers than seek Him through His Word.
[23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
He never knew them because they never knew Him. If you say you know the Living Word of God and yet you do NOT know the Written Word of God you are sorely deceived, no matter how many years you have faithfully attended Bethel (Church), which means "House of God" in Hebrew, i.e. church. Have you ever read what our Father said long, long ago concerning Bethel (church)?
Amos 5:4
For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:
How do you seek the LORD? Through His Word!
[5] But seek not Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beer-sheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought.
You can go to church (Bethel) regularly for years and years and more years and still be spiritually slaughtered with the majority when the Assyrian (Satan) comes upon the land, claiming he is God (Jesus, the Christ). That's what happened to our forefathers, physically, and will happen to us spiritually, if we don't learn to tell the difference between "what is holy and what is profane!"

So, you can follow in their footsteps and set up altars all day and all night, such as at Gilgal, and you can make covenants and pledges all the way to Beer-sheba, but unless in these latter days you seek the LORD thy God through His Word, not man's, with all your heart and all your soul, your little old church isn't going to do you a bit of good on "That Day", the Day we have been reading about here in Micah!

The sad part is that the life giving instructions to Seek Him and obey His Voice, not man's traditions, was given to our people and recorded in His Word long, long ago!

Here it is in the Book of Deuteronomy:

Deut. 4:29
But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
Do you "Seek Him" or do you "Seek Bethel"? Are you a Christ-man or are you a Church-man? You see, it doesn't matter what some preacher may tell you, or a movie or book some man produced and left behind may say, you are going through the tribulation of the false-christ, either as a witness for Jesus Christ, with your feet firmly planted in the field, or as a "witless" for Satan with your head somewhere in the clouds! You see, both the wise virgins and the foolish virgins go through the night, the hour of darkness.

Haven't you read about them (Mat. 25:1-13)?

However, even though we all, the good, the bad, and the ugly, go through the tribulation of the false-christ, those who seek the true Christ in these latter days and are obedient to His Voice, which is His Word, have nothing to fear. For as it is written in Rev. 9 that only those who have NOT the seal of God in their foreheads shall be harmed (spiritually slaughtered by the king of Babylon, Satan).

[30] When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice;
Seek His Voice in these latter days, the Voice of the Shepherd, the One who can unlock the scriptures (Rev. 3:7) and He will open the seals of truth to your mind. The hour is late and His Great Voice is even speaking as a trumpet this very day, for the Lord's Day approaches quickly. Rev. 1:10 "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet". If you are a virgin (the symbolic term for a Christian waiting for the wedding of the true Bridegroom) then He has spoken specifically TO YOU in Revelation chapters two and three.

Go there and listen to the trumpet.
[31] (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) He will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which He sware unto them.
Our Father is a loving Father but it is up to you to decide to align with His Word or continue on your own path to desolation. He has "set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live" (Deut. 30:19).

How do you choose life? Through the Word of Life (1 Jn. 1:1, Phil. 2:6)! We just read it in Amos 5:4, "For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:"

So why is it our people will not hear His voice and follow humbly in His ways, because if they do He has promised all the wonderful blessings of Deut. 28:1-14. But alas, we are suffering more and more from the plagues and pestilences which follow famine, which is not a famine for bread in these last days, but for the hearing the Word of God (Amos 8:11).

Let us now hear what the LORD has to say through his servant Micah:

Micah 6:1
Hear ye now what the LORD saith; Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice.
Hear ye now what the LORD saith!

This instruction is to those who will "hear", even those who have ears to hear who are His elect, to arise (stand up) and contend (plead His cause) before the nations, both large and small, and let them hear your voice (speaking His Words as in "Thus saith the Lord God")! In other words, as the next verse shows, our Father has a controversy with His people and He has already said He IS going to chastise them with the rod of His correction and He wants them to know why. Of course we know "why" from reading this great Book of Micah, do we not? Is it not because of the "sin of Samaria" (Micah 1:5)? Yes it is! Just as Jeroboam set up those altars and golden calves for our people to go and attend church instead of doing as our Father instructed them to, our people today in their blind ignorance also substitute churchianity, a "form" of worship, in place of seeking Him and studying His Word. They have thus "strayed from His ways" having been "drawn away" from our Father even after the same manner as they were in the first earth age, when they followed Satan during his rebellion against God (Rev. 12:4). There is nothing new under the sun.

Here is what our Father wants the mountains, i.e. nations, i.e. His people, to hear:

[2] Hear ye, O mountains, the LORD'S controversy, and ye strong foundations of the earth:
Remember, Micah is written concerning Samaria and Jerusalem which means the whole House of Israel, i.e. the Christian nations of western Europe, the isles of Britain, and the Americas. His people, we had better listen-up real good to what He has to say...
[2 cont.] ...for the LORD hath a controversy with his people, and He will plead with Israel.
He will plead His case to His children through His servants who speak His words, but after the pleading... the party's over!
plead = çëÇéˆyaòkach yaw-kakh' Strong's #3198
A primitive root; to be right (that is, correct); reciprocally to argue; causatively to decide, justify or convict:—appoint, argue, chasten, convince, correct (-ion), daysman, dispute, judge, maintain, plead, reason (together), rebuke, reprove (-r), surely, in any wise.
Here now is our Father's opening statement and His demand for documented rebuttal (testimony), followed by His argument. He presents His case complete with factual case history to show that He loves His children and even goes out of His way to be just and merciful toward them. He even presents His case in a heartfelt, loving manner as evidenced by His words "O my people". You know it just breaks His heart to see how His children ignore Him. (To ignore His Word is to "forsake the Lord thy God"!)
Micah 6:3
O my people, what have I done unto thee? and wherein have I wearied thee? testify against me.
What would be your reply to your Father? He is saying go ahead and present your case as to how badly He has treated you! Give Him your testimony!

Here is His:
Micah 6:4
For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.
God interceded and took His children under His wing and delivered them out of the house of bondage. He even gave them a lawgiver, a priest, and a prophetess to guide them in the right path and set forth the example.

And how about this next example?
[5] O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal; that ye may know the righteousness of the LORD.
Have you read how old Balak used bribery to compel the avaricious prophet Balaam to bring a curse upon the children of God that Balak might destroy them from off the land? You will find it recorded in Numbers 22-25. The bottom line is that God not only intervened on behalf of His people to protect them from their adversary but He went "above and beyond" and turned the would-be curse into a blessing for His children. Why? Because He loves them dearly! Can you call that grievous and wearisome?
Deut. 23:5
Nevertheless the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee.
OK, your turn!
Micah 6:6
Wherewith shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?

[7] Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?

"Wherewith" means "how", as in "how shall I come before the LORD"! These two verses pretty much say it ALL for they show that our people just don't "get it"! They are so clueless and blind to the reality of what their Father wants them to do because they have listened for so long to men trained in man's seminaries preach "traditions" and not the Word of God chapter by chapter and line by line. Therefore, all they know about the love of our Father is what they have been taught "by the precept of men"! Read Isaiah 29.
Isaiah 29:13
Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear (reverence) toward me is taught by the precept of men:
The reality is that our MANY of our beloved brothers and sisters claim to be Christian and they "Praise the Lord" in words and songs but they do not "hunger and thirst" after righteousness, i.e. His Word! They seek the Lord in their Bethels (churches) where men speak but they do not Seek Him in His Word where HE SPEAKS! Therefore "their heart is FAR from Him" which simply means they do not really love Him, for if they did they would keep His commands.

That is what Jesus Christ says:
John 14:15
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Jesus is not speaking here of just the 10 Commandments. He means His instructions, His Words, ALL of them from Genesis to Revelation!
John 14:21
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
If you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you! James 4:8 "Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you." Now you know exactly why He states to those in Mat. 7:23 "I never knew you"!
John 14:23
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

[24] He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

No, unfortunately MANY of our people just don't get it and for that reason they do not know Him, for they have not taken the time to get to know Him. And yet our Father has told us many, many times throughout His Word the answer to the question in Micah 6:6, "Wherewith (how) shall I come before the LORD" and what it is He requires of you and me!
Micah 6:8
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Did He say He wants us to go to church (Bethel) and do a lot of religious stuff? He simply wants us to do justly, i.e. do what is right according to His Word, and to love mercy, and to WALK humbly with thy God, i.e. to abide with Him in His Word! Is that so hard? Is that so grievous?
1 John 5:3
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and His commandments are not grievous.
Our people have forsaken the Word of God and so the Assyrian (Satan) shall come and take them captive unto himself. THAT my friend is indeed "grievous" and it is known as the Great Tribulation!

Ready or not, here it comes!

We learned in our very first chapter that the name Micah in Hebrew means "Who is like Yahveh?" It is sad indeed that more of His children do not recognize there is NO ONE who can compare to our Father in strength and love and mercy and justice. He has all power in heaven and earth for it is He who created the heavens and this beautiful earth, our beloved home for all eternity (Rev. 21). All this He did for His children because He loves them dearly and it gives Him great pleasure to bless them and to give to them so great an inheritance (Rev. 21:7, Rom. 8:17). For this reason alone He is worthy to receive praise and honor and we should be ever so grateful and appreciative of what He has done for us.

Rev. 4:11
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Now consider what we learned so far, which is that all our Father wants from His children is that they love Him enough to act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with Him (Micah 6:8), which means to listen to His voice. You see, when we walk with Him and follow our Father's "ways", it brings His blessings of peace and happiness and prosperity to all. But when we follow the "ways" of the "abominable one" (Satan) it brings the antithesis of those blessings and it brings forth His correcting rod to chastise the children He loves. To that end we have already read the warning in this great Book of Micah that the Assyrian (Satan) SHALL come upon this land (Micah 5:5) of the rebellious house of Israel and shall be used as the rod of His correction.

However, it is written that before "that day" when the Assyrian (as the spurious messiah) comes upon the land (at the 6th Trump) the "wise" of this final generation, the sons and daughters who are able to "hear" His voice and "see" His name, shall "Blow the (warning) trumpet (His voice) in Zion", i.e. to the lost sheep of the house of Israel who have strayed from the Word of God, from "walking humbly with their God"!

Are you one of the "wise"?

Let us now continue with the Book of Micah.

Micah 6:9
The LORD'S voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.
The word "crieth" means to "proclaim" as in to "herald". The LORD'S voice, as a trumpet (Rev. 1:10), is being heralded (preached, proclaimed) to the city, which is Jerusalem put forth as a figure of speech (a Metonymy) to mean the inhabitants of the land.

Hear ye! Hear ye! "Hear ye the rod and He who has appointed the chastisement." In other words, if you have wisdom you had better hear what punishment awaits (vs. 13).

[10] Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is abominable?

[11] Shall I count them pure with the wicked balances, and with the bag of deceitful weights?

Shall we revisit all the wickedness (lawlessness) and spiritual corruption we read of in chapter 3? Has it now gone away? Not!

The word "abominable" in verse 10 means "defiled" and "abhorred" which is a direct reference to the influence of the abominable one himself (Satan). Also, "scant measure" refers to the ephah (a unit of measure of about 3 pecks) which the children of disobedience (the kenites) make small at every opportunity!

We read of this same corruption in Amos 8 concerning their method of operation in these last days.

Amos 8:5
Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?
So the question in verse 11 is: Should God let those who are "unjust" and "deceitful" go unpunished and not be held accountable for their actions? Should He reward them?
Micah 6:12
For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.
These "rich men", these "liars" being spoken of here, are those who have gotten their riches through the unjust and deceitful means being discussed*. Our nation is in the sad spiritual condition it is in because we have strayed from our Father's Word and we have allowed these "rich men" to become our masters and to rule over us (Deut. 28:43). Of course there is nothing wrong whatsoever with being wealthy if that wealth is obtained honestly and through principled means.

You know the old saying "Like father, like son"? Well, the rich men refered to here, who are kenites (sons of Cain), operate just like their old man, "the father of lies" (John 8:44), Satan himself. The word "violence" in Micah 6:8 means unrighteousness, injustice, i.e. to violate truth and that which is right.

violence =  ñîÈç˜ chaòmaòs khaw-mawce' Strong's #2555
From H2554; violence; by implication wrong; by metonymy unjust gain:— cruel (-ty), damage, false, injustice, X oppressor, unrighteous, violence (against, done), violent (dealing), wrong.
It is by this "violence" that Satan drew a third of God's children away from Him in the first earth age (Rev. 12:4). We can read about it the 28th chapter of Ezekiel which concerns the king of Tyre, i.e. Satan.
Ezekiel 28:4
With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:
This "wisdom" he possesses is the wisdom of worldly ways, not the wisdom from the Word of God.
Ezekiel 28:16
By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
As a "covering cherub" Satan was to protect the mercy seat which simply means to defend and "fence in" and uphold the truth, i.e. God's ways.

He once did that and walked up and down in the midst of the "stones of fire" who are the children of the House of Israel represented by those 12 stones worn by the Levitical priests (and Satan was a priest in the first earth age - Ezk. 28:13).
covering = CëÇñ˜ CëÇNÜ saòkak sñaòkak saw-kak', saw-kak'Strong's #5526
A primitive root; properly to entwine as a screen; by implication to fence in, cover over, (figuratively) protect:—cover, defence, defend, hedge in, join together, set, shut up.
It is written in Ecclesiastes chapter one that "There is nothing new under the sun", which means there is nothing new in this earth age from that of the first age.

Through the "rich men's" incremental "gnawing away" like locusts at our Christian beliefs and heritage and by falsifying the balances of economics and justice through usury and taxation and bribery, etc., they been able to usurp control of the powers of the Four Hidden Dynasties of Religion, Politics, Economics, and Education, and our people have ONCE AGAIN been led astray from the Word of God.

If you want to know what it was like in the last days before the "katabole", the overthrow of Satan and the desolation (tohu va bohu) of the first earth age, then just take a look around today. Antichristian Liberalism has infested all areas of our society beginning with the first seal of Rev. 6, Religion, the churches of our land. So...
Micah 6:13
Therefore also will I make thee sick in smiting thee, in making thee desolate because of thy sins.
Therefore the rod of His correction is coming! To be means to "sick""travail as a woman", i.e. to suffer labor pangs which we discussed in detail in a previous chapter. And the "desolator" shall come and lay waste the vineyard and desolate the souls of our people for in their ignorance and lack of wisdom from His Word, most of our Christian brothers and sisters will bow to him (Satan) as their Lord and Savior.
[14] Thou shalt eat, but not be satisfied; and thy casting down shall be in the midst of thee; and thou shalt take hold, but shalt not deliver; and that which thou deliverest will I give up to the sword.

[15] Thou shalt sow, but thou shalt not reap; thou shalt tread the olives, but thou shalt not anoint thee with oil; and sweet wine, but shalt not drink wine.

Should all this be "new" to our understanding? Of course not!

We were warned long, long ago:
Deut. 28:38
Thou shalt carry much seed out into the field, and shalt gather but little in; for the locust shall consume it.
These "locusts" are not insects but "people" as documented in Rev. 9 where we are warned of them again.
[39] Thou shalt plant vineyards, and dress them, but shalt neither drink of the wine, nor gather the grapes; for the worms shall eat them.

[40] Thou shalt have olive trees throughout all thy coasts, but thou shalt not anoint thyself with the oil; for thine olive shall cast his fruit.

The famine in our land, which is for the hearing of the Word of God (Amos 8:11-13), has produced pestilences and social ills instead of producing righteous fruit for the kingdom of God through the nourishment from the true vine, i.e. from drinking the pure wine, the Word of God.

Again, we were warned long ago that we could EXPECT what we are now reaping:
Deut. 28:15
But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
The majority of our people in this nation claim to be Christian and yet IF they were pleasing their Father and "walking humbly with their God" and keeping His commands and His statutes, they would cast out Satan and his liberals in both the churches and the seats of government. But no, they bow to political correctness for fear of being stung by the scorpions in the press and media or the ACLU (Anti-Christian Lawyers Union) type scorpions in the court systems. Go figure!

This is what Christ said:

Luke 10:19
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
The high places of our land are full of corruption and the churches of our land are empty (void) of His Word for instead of teaching it line by line and verse by verse they are given to following and teaching the traditions of men. Thus they commit the great "sin of Samaria"!
Micah 6:16
For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye walk in their counsels; that I should make thee a desolation, and the inhabitants thereof an hissing: therefore ye shall bear the reproach of my people.
This verse speaks of both civil and religious disobedience to God's Word! Omri was the founder of "Samaria" and of Ahab's wicked house. The "statutes of Omri" refers to the fact that He followed after the way of Jeroboam and "made Israel to sin"!

It is one thing to be corrupt yourself, i.e. that iniquity is found within you as was the case with Satan (Ezk. 28:15). It is quite another thing, a greater sin indeed, to deceive and to lead others astray from the Word of God as did Satan, in the first earth age. It was for this reason that in the first earth age the unrepentant Satan was sentenced to die! That is why he is called the "son of perdition" which is to say the "son who will perish"!

Here is the scoop on Omri:

1 Kings 16:23
In the thirty and first year of Asa king of Judah began Omri to reign over Israel, twelve years: six years reigned he in Tirzah.

[24] And he bought the hill Samaria of Shemer for two talents of silver, and built on the hill, and called the name of the city which he built, after the name of Shemer, owner of the hill, Samaria.

[25] But Omri wrought evil in the eyes of the LORD, and did worse than all that were before him.

[26] For he walked in all the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and in his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin, to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger with their vanities.

Idolatry makes our Father angry! The problem is our people in their blindness and ignorance do not know they are adulterers and fornicators, i.e. idolaters! Many think they serve the Lord by going to church and singing praises to His name because that is what the preachers teach them to do to please God! Here is what He thinks about those songs verses the things He said in Micah 6:8 that He wants us to do:
Amos 5:23
Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.

[24] But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.

Remember what we read in Micah 6:8? Our Father wants us to do "justly" according to His Word.

And what about old Ahab and Jezebel, that wicked woman?
1 Kings 21:25
But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the LORD, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.

[26] And he did very abominably in following idols, according to all things as did the Amorites, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.

The accounts surrounding Ahab and Jezebel have to do with Baal worship, that false god whom the people thought was really God.

And so it is today that many Christians worship one whom they call Jesus but since they are Biblically illiterate they do not know that there are actually two Jesus Christs, the real one and the fake one! Therefore, they cannot tell the difference between the true Messiah who returns at the 7th Trump and the false messiah, the imposter who shows up at the sound of the 6th Trump to deceive the whole world BEFORE Christ returns (2 Thes.).

Those Christians who believe in the any-moment Rapture Theory will believe this supernatural entity is really Jesus Christ and they will be spiritually seduced by him, having already been seduced by Jezebel's lies!

The whole point is that the idolatrous teachings of that woman Jezebel are alive and flourishing in the Christian community today and they will lead most Christians to jump in bed (spiritually) with the false messiah.

Have you ever read what He with the Sword and the voice of a Trumpet (Rev. 2:20) has to say to the church of Thyatira, TODAY?

Rev. 2:20
Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
Does your church teach the seducing doctrines of that woman Jezebel? Do you commit spiritual fornication with the great harlot or are you going to look Jesus in the eye on that day and say "I never had (spiritual) sex with that woman"? Think about it! Study God's Word and believe His Voice and quit listening to lies and liars!

What's wrong is that the folks in the church at Thyatira are obviously listening to someone who is "teaching" them, who calls herself a prophetess (which means teacher), but all the while she is leading them astray! She's seducing them to commit fornication and if they don't wise up, they're screwed alright!  They're going to get stomped with brass feet.

Now let's back up and analyze what's being said. First, this is not, and cannot be, the Jezebel of 1 Kings chapter 16, though she certainly was a type.  Her name, Jezebel, means chaste, and so she gives the appearance of purity and holiness and goodness and truth (read as a Polysyndenton now that you know what one is), but we just learned that she is anything but those things. The problem is her church members are too deceived, too seduced and in love with her, to know that what she teaches is an abomination to our Father! (She is not an actual woman, but a "teaching" of the church).

What does it mean to commit fornication and to eat things sacrificed to idols? Do you mean she teaches people to have sex outside of marriage and eat food sacrificed to idols?  No, this is church doctrine that is being talked about.

She teaches people to become idolaters by eating "spiritual food", i.e. doctrine and traditions, that are not Biblical, and so not from God. It comes from other gods, meaning the false god, Satan himself, but it looks and "tastes" so good!

An example would be the "rapture theory" taught in most Christian churches today. Margaret McDonald, a prophetess herself, originated this doctrine in the year 1830 in Glasgow Scotland. She herself wrote that at first it was evil and there was darkness about it. That should tell you right there where it came from, the dark one himself. It is not supported in anyway, shape, or form in the Bible, yet it "tastes" and "feels" very good to those who wish to "eat" of it and continue being "seduced".

But let's check out the type, the Jezebel in I Kings 16-19.  She had good old Ahab make groves that really angered our Father, more so than all the kings of Israel that were before him. That's pretty serious stuff!

1 Kings 16:33
And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him.
Do you have any idea what a grove is?  The truth of the matter is "covered up" in the English, hidden just beneath the surface, if you will.  If you're like most of the people in the church of Thyatira you're probably thinking Ahab planted a bunch of trees, like an apple grove, or maybe cleared away the under brush to make a nice oak grove.

Well guess what? We just read in verse 17 of Rev. 2 that there is hidden manna, so henceforth we better all start looking a little deeper to uncover the truth.  Get a Strong's Concordance and look up "grove". The word is "asherah", from the root "ashar", to be straight, erect or upright!

Check out all the passages where this word is used and you will "see" without question it is not a grove like the folks of Thyatira think. For example, in 2 Kings 17:10 "they set them up under every tree" and in 2 Kings 23:6 "he brought out the grove from the house of the LORD, without Jerusalem, unto the brook Kidron, and burned it at the brook Kidron...".

The asherah was a "thing", it was the Phallus image of  Isa. 57:8 and the "image of the male" in Ezek. 16:17. You guessed it, it was the image of the male upright organ of procreation. OK, it was a big carved penis, there I said it.

But you know what? It was a religious "thing". It was used in the spring sexual orgies honoring Ashteroth, the queen of heaven, from whom we get our word "Easter". Uh, oh!
The church of Thyatira wouldn't bring symbols of fertility into the house of God, would they?

Eggs, bunny rabbits?

"Oh, but those", we are told, "are just symbols of new life, after all it's spring time. And besides, it's so cute for the kids." (Doesn't Jezebel speak so sweetly?)  Sure, and grove means a clump of trees. How's it feel to be seduced by her? Do you know the origin of Easter eggs and Easter bunnies? What do they have to do with the Passover anyway?

It may offend some, but if that be the case, go ahead and try to find Easter in the New Testament. It ain't there! Surprised? (Note: Please don't send an e-mail saying you found it in Acts 12:4. The word is pascha,
translated all 28 other times as Passover.)

[21] And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
Our Father uses "adultery" to represent the far worse sin of "idolatry" throughout the Bible. He's giving her time, even now, to repent.
[22] Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
Hey, she's going to "bed" and those that she "seduces" are going with her. And they will have great tribulation. Do you know what that means?  It means they will be "taken" by the false messiah, who is Satan, when he comes at the 6th trump claiming he is God. He'll be in the sack with them! In other words, they will worship the devil as Jesus Christ.

Worshipping Satan, even if in ignorance, is not a very good thing to do if you claim to be a Christian, is it?  It is called the great falling away, the great apostasy.

[23] And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am He which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
Christ isn't going to physically kill children. Come on! It simply means that the children of Jezebel, her followers, i.e. the deceived members of the church of Thyatira, are going to be
"Spiritually Dead"!!!
[24] But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
Stay away from Satan's fake doctrines. Learn his mysterious and conniving ways of slipping paganism into the churches of Christianity. Get out of Satan's bed!
[25] But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
If you have eyes to see, and ears to hear, what Christ has been mentioning to every church, then hang in there. These are exciting times now, but more excitement is about to befall us all!
[26] And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
God's elect will reign with Christ during the,  1000 year, day of the Lord, the Millennium.
[27] And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
To "rule" means to "shepherd"But the rest of the church of Thyatira better watch out for those brass feet.
[28] And I will give him the morning star.
The morning star is Jesus Christ, (except in some of "THE NEW IMPROVED VERSIONS OF OUR BIBLES!" printed since the 1970s) our Lord and Savior, who reveals the hidden manna to those who will "hear" and "see". Remember though, you have to want it; To Ask Him TO REVEAL IT TO YOU.
Rev. 22:16
I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
But never forget, there is an imposter that "looks" so much like the real Christ, that the majority of Christianity can't tell the difference. So it is no wonder that in Isaiah 14, Satan is also called the bright star. There are two stars, two Christs; The real and the fake!
[29] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
So much for the church of Thyatira. It didn't score well either.

To this point in our study of the book that uncovers and unseals the truth, Jesus Christ has addressed four of the seven churches, and so far three of the four have come up short of pleasing Him. In fact we find that only two out of the seven are pleasing to Christ, Smyrna and Philadelphia.

The question is, "Do you want to please Christ, or not?" That may sound like a "dumb" question to ask someone who professes to be Christian, but let's think about it?

Suppose you "hire on" as a contractor for an architect who has given you the plans to build a great, magnificent structure. You're all excited about your new position and you really want to do a good job and please your boss. But you never quite get around to reading the plans or studying the blueprints. Instead you go about erecting poles and walls the way you think they ought to be, the way you've seen other poles and walls built, "traditionally". You justify it in your mind thinking, "This must be what he wants, everyone else does it this way."

When the boss comes along and asks "What in the world is this mess? Where's the magnificent building I ask you to construct? This doesn't even resemble it. Haven't you read my plans?", you say, "But I thought this is the structure you wanted me to build". You're then hurt and crushed when he fires you saying "get away from me" because he has no use for you.

The point is, you may have "wanted" to please your boss, but you didn't "care enough" to take the time to learn what it was that he wanted done. Such is the case with those in five of the seven churches.

I'd like to quote two paragraphs from the work of one of the greatest Bible scholars of our modern era, E. W. Bullinger, in his work titled "How to Enjoy the Bible", American Christian Press, pg. 6.

When we come to ask ourselves, and say "Where did I learn this?" "How did I get this?" "Who taught me this?" it is astonishing to find how much we have imbibed from man, and from tradition; and not directly and for ourselves, from the Word of God.

All that we have learned from our youth up must be tested and proved by the Word of God. Where we find it is true we must learn it over again, from God. And where it will not stand the test of His Word we must be not only content, but thankful to give it up; and receive Divine revelation in the place of man's imagination.

These two profound paragraphs are the essence of what Revelation chapters 2 and 3 are all about. It is the reason we are testing the churches, shall we say it's "the purpose of the exercise". To be able to do that which we just read requires great courage and discipline. Most would rather take the easy road and follow traditions. That road does not lead to our Father, nor does it please Him.

The apostle Paul was able to sum it up in one short sentence that we all need to live by:

1 Thes. 5:21
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
