"If God is so all knowing and all powerful
then why does He allow all these bad things to happen?"

We as God's children need know and understand and be able to give His answer to those who ask the legitimate question, "If God is so all knowing and all powerful then why does He allow all these bad things to happen?"

Let us learn wisdom from our Father's Word. Here is Habakkuk's inquiry to the LORD his God:

Habakkuk 1:12
Art thou not from everlasting, O LORD my God, mine Holy One? we* shall not die. O LORD, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.
"Are you not the everlasting Lord God Almighty, the Holy One of Israel, Who* shall never die? I know You have ordained that wicked locust army for judgment (which is why God calls them "His army" in Joel) and have established them to correct your children. So... here is my question", says Habakkuk:

*Note on "we" in vs. 12: This is one of the 18 emendations (alterations) of the Sopherim who changed the text because it was considered (by man) to be offensive to say this of Yahveh. The "We shall not die" should therefore read "Who shall not die", i.e. it is God who is from everlasting to everlasting. (See note on vs. 12 in the Companion Bible, pg. 1267).

[13] Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?
God, I know you abhor evil and cannot stand to look upon iniquity, so how can you stand by and watch the "wicked one" (rasha), Satan and his locust army, devour (as with the teeth of a lion) your children who are certainly more righteous than he? In other words, why does God allow evil to triumph over righteous? (Remember, this vision of Habakkuk is for the appointed time (Hab. 2:3), which is during the reign of Satan as the false-christ in the last days.)
[14] And makest men as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping things, that have no ruler over them?
Satan, the devourer, the false messiah, reduces men ("adam" in Hebrew) to mere fishes of the sea, like the creeping things, that have no "ruler" over them to lead them and defend them. Therefore they (the sons of adam) have become like the rest of the fishes of the sea, the sea of people from which the Beast rises in Rev. 13:1, and they are easily snagged by the hooks and snared in the nets of the kenites who shall come and drag them away! Deja vu from the first earth age!
[15] They take up all of them with the angle, they catch them in their net, and gather them in their drag: therefore they rejoice and are glad.
Yes, those wicked ones behind the scenes are weaving, even have woven, a worldwide web called the New World Order which shall, even has, entrap all nations (ethos) and kingdoms (tribes of Israel)!

The point is that the hooks and nets of the New World Order "outfish" the "fishers of men". You see, the problem is that those who are to be "fishers of men", i.e. ministers of Christ, do not do as Christ instructed Peter in John 21 and "bring the fishes to Him", which is to the Word of God whereby they can grow in grace and knowledge and likewise become fishers! Instead, when the so-called ministers of Christ catch fish, they bring them to "church" where they teach them the traditions of men instead of the line by line truth from His Word! Therefore they never come to an understanding of the truth and thus are never set free! Religion is one of the "nets", one of the Four Hidden Dynasties of the New World Order.

[16] Therefore they sacrifice unto their net, and burn incense unto their drag; because by them their portion is fat, and their meat plenteous.
The "net" that entraps and enslaves men is the power of Babylon the Great of these end times. It is the king of Babylon's "spiritual war machine" which again is the combined "forces" of the Four Horses (symbolic of power) of the Apocalypse (Rev. 6), the Four Hidden Dynasties of Politics (Red Horse), Education (Pale Horse), Economics (Black Horse) and Religion (White Horse)! It is the "god of forces (powers)" spoken of by Daniel the prophet.

Here at theAmerican Wisdom Series our goal is to make you think about and question the wisdom of the current:
doctrine of many of our Christian churches, (The Man on a White Horse)
political direction of our country, (The Man on a Red Horse)
economic direction our country has taken, (The Man on a Black Horse)
and teachings of our schools and media. (The Man on a Pale Horse)

Daniel 11:38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

Yes, they sacrifice to their net, their own wicked devices (not to Almighty God) and they burn incense and rejoice for they (the wicked) are made fat (rich with gold and silver and pleasant things) through the establishing of the New World Order. Hallelujah, praise globalization!

Habakkuk 1:17
Shall they therefore empty their net, and not spare continually to slay the nations?
How long are you going to allow this gross iniquity to continue on, O Lord, whereby the nations are enslaved and spiritually slain?

Now notice what Habakkuk does next. Watch this, watchman!

Habakkuk 2:1
I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what He will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
Habakkuk was obviously a watchman, even a type of the watchmen of this final generation, and he fully expects he will receive an answer from our Father. But notice what he does in order to receive that answer! He stands upon the watch! To "stand" means to "continue" or to "endure". I.e., Habakkuk is going to continue doing his duty as a watchman which is to "set himself upon the "tower". "Tower" means "fortress" or "rock"!  In other words, Habakkuk will continue to "stand upon the Rock" which is Christ, the Word of God, and he will "watch", as in "lean forward and peer into" the Word of God and wait to see what the answer shall be to his inquiry.

When you ask of God, then go to the Rock, His Word, and "peer into His Word", and wait upon Him for the answer. That is what "Watch to see" means!! He will surely answer thee!

In chapter 2 of Habakkuk, our Father is going to give a very detailed answer to Habakkuk's question and instruct Habakkuk, a type of his watchman on duty in the last days, at the appointed time, to do something!

So do not miss God's speech (Hab. 3:2)!

Psalm 91:2
I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
