Speaking of Gun Control

There are Two Undisputable Facts

Fact #1. Prohibition doesn't work.

It didn't work with alcohol in the 1920's.

It's not working with drugs right now.

It wouldn't work with guns.

If a person is set

on committing an evil act of violence,

that person will get a weapon

no matter what we do.

For heavens sake,

he can make one in his basement.

In fact

the harder we make it

to purchase a factory manufactured gun

the more profitable it will become

to make and sell homemade guns.

In the 1920's

Outlaws got filthy rich

making and selling alcohol

and crime increased

just because of the large sums of money involved.

Outlaws are getting filthy rich

importing or making and selling drugs

today

and crime has increased

just because of the large sums of money involved.

If we banned Guns

Outlaws will get filthy rich

making and selling guns

and crime will increase

just because of the large sums of money involved.

Fact #2 The police can't protect us from evil.

If you choose to dispute this,

do this little experiment.

Tomorrow, take a survey.

Every ten minutes

look around you.

Do you see a policeman?

Continue to do this

every ten minutes

until you are ready to concede

the fact that the police

can't protect you from evil.

The police can only investigate

a crime after it happens.

Now,

if nothing can be done

to prevent a person,

who intends to do evil,

from getting a weapon

and the police can't protect us

before or during

the act of violence,

why would a sane society
even be thinking about
disarming the potential victims of violence?

We Had Better Prepare

As necessary as it is that "we the people"
don't allow feel good legislation to deny us our right to bear arms,
personal self defense from randomly occurring violence
wasn't the main reason for the Second Amendment being included
as one of our basic rights as individual American Citizens.

The main reason , was to assure our collective defense against a tyrannical government.

If we allow our government to eventually disarm us or even register all our weapons,
we will be living under a dictatorship within thirty years of the date the registration is completed.

Gun restrictions are only the beginning.

You don't agree?

aren't you paying attention to what takes place in the rest of the world?

I see it coming.

We had better hide many guns and much ammunition, in many places.

We better be sure our children and grandchildren know where to find them.

If Americans are to remain a free people,

our children and grandchildren will need them,

to arm their well regulated militia,

when government tyranny becomes unbearable.
