is only a small part of two days plus one full day and all of two full nights.

Scripture: Matthew 12:40  For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth

It doesn't get any clearer than that!
"three days and three nights".

Why have we been taught, in our churches, no less!,
that Christ was crucified on Friday [Good Friday]
and arose from the dead on Sunday [Easter Sunday].
