The American Wisdom Series

Presents
Pamphlet #4286

My Hi-lite: Judges 1:16  And the children of the Kenite, Moses' father in law, went up out of the city of palm trees with the children of Judah into the wilderness of Judah, which lieth in the south of Arad; and they went and dwelt among the people.

See
Exodus 18:1  When Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father in law, heard of all that God had done for Moses, and for Israel his people, and that the LORD had brought Israel out of Egypt;
&
Genesis 25:1  Then again Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah.
2  And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah.

Moses' father in law was a Kenite because he lived in the land of Cain's descendants not because he was a descendant himself. He was a grandson of Abraham not a Kanite as in grandson on Cain.

I am a Pennsylvain because I live in Pennsylvania even though I am not a grandson of William Penn.

o study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
