Today,
as in the time of Christ, there are those "sons of Kain (Cain)", called
Kenites in the Bible, who claim to be descendents of Judah (Jews) but they
are not!
The 1st Book of Thessalonians was
written by Paul from Athens about twenty years after the crucifixion of
Jesus Christ. Paul, along with Silas and Timothy, brought the Word of God
to them through much tribulation, even to the point of being thrown in
jail, but it was well worth it because the Thessalonians received that
Word in their hearts as Truth.
Paul felt a deep closeness to his
dear friends, even a fatherly affection, and he longed to revisit them.
However, after twice being hindered
from making the trip himself, he sent Timothy to visit them and to see
how they were doing.
When Timothy returned to Athens
he told Paul how faithful they were and how enthusiastically they were
spreading the Word of God into other regions.
Paul was thrilled with Timothy's
good report and longed even more to see their smiling faces again, but
it would be about five more years before that would happen.
Until then, he would have to communicate
with them by writing letters to them!
Paul was prayerfully thankful and
overjoyed that his "entrance in unto them" was not in vain (ch. 2:1), especially
because after they received the Word of God as truth, they became imitators
of him and Silas and Timothy (ch. 1:6) by zealously carrying forth that
Word into other heathen locales.
However, while producing much fruit
they also began to suffer persecution after the same manner of the Christian
churches in Judaea, which were persecuted by the kenites who called themselves
Jews.
1 Thes.
2:14
For ye, brethren,
became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus:
for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they
have of the Jews:
Do you remember in our first
study we learned that the word "Jew", which is "Ioudaios" in Greek, has
two meanings?
The first one means a person who
is a descendant of Judah.
The second one merely identifies
a person who is a resident of Judea.
In other words, just as a person
from Pennsylvania is called a Pennsylvanian, a person from Judea was called
a Jew, but that did not necessarily mean they were descendants of Judah.
Today, as in the time of Christ,
there are those "sons of Kain (Cain)", called Kenites in the Bible, who
claim to be descendents of Judah (Jews) but they are not!
They are liars and they are of the
synagogue of Satan.

Let's have a sidebar.
Did you know that out of
the seven churches Jesus Christ addressed in Rev. 2 and 3 there are only
two who actually know who these persecuting liars, who call themselves
Jews, really are and teach the truth concerning them to others? They are
also the only two churches Christ found no fault with, but you will read
concerning all the others that He does have some major problems with them!
Knowing that, does not common sense dictate that if one does not know who
these liars are then his or her church falls into the "problem category"?
Here are those two favorable churches:
Rev.
2:8-9
And unto the
angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the
last, which was dead, and is alive;
This is Jesus Christ speaking
to the church in Smyrna.
[9]I
know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I
know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not,
but are the synagogue of Satan.
Somebody obviously knows who
Jesus is talking about, right?
Those of the church of Smyrna do
and so do those of the church of Philadelphia.
Rev.
3:7-9
And to the angel
of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy,
he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no
man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
[8] I know thy
works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut
it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not
denied my name.
Here is a knowledgeable church
who holds fast the Word of God and have not denied His name, which also
means they are not afraid to teach His Word as it is written.
[9]
Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are
Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and
worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
These liars are the kenites,
the sons of Cain, who claim be of Judah, the son of Jacob, the son Isaac,
who was the son of Abraham. Many of them "mixed in" with Judah as temple
workers, nethinim, during the time of Ezra and Nehemiah when the small
remnant returned from Babylon to rebuild the temple.
By the time Christ arrived on the
scene they had taken over the temple.
That is what Jesus meant when He
said in Matthew 23:2 "Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses'
seat", i.e. they sit in the seat of authority.
These scribes and Pharisees tried
back then to fool Jesus Christ and convince Him that they were genuine
Jews, i.e. descendants of Judah who was the great grandson of Abraham.
Here they are in the Gospel of John,
lying with through their teeth trying to deceive Yeshua Messiah:
John
8:33
They answered
Him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man:
how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
Jesus Christ did not "buy"
their serpentine lies.
After some further discussion which
you can read for yourself, Christ said the following right to their faces
regarding their claim to be children of Abraham:

Ye are of your
father
the devil, and the lusts of your father
ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the
truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh
of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
The devil produced the first
murderer and his name was Kayin in Hebrew, i.e. Cain.
You see, Satan tried to "mix in"
the bad seed among the good right from the beginning.
Christ's explanation of the Parable
of Tares in Matthew 13 documents it beyond refute.

It can also easily be documented
that Cain was not Adam's son and that is why he is NOT listed in Adam's
genealogy in chapter 5 of Genesis.
He has his own genealogy in chapter
4. Check it out.
Note: If you would like to know
more about how it was in the beginning and what really happened in the
garden of Eden, then log unto Genesis and
read the line by line account of the seduction in the fig grove. By the
way, the word "apple" is nowhere to be found in the entire book of Genesis.
It is simply a tradition of men!
Now, just as it was Cain who killed
righteous Abel, it would be his descendents, these lying hypocrites, who
would kill the prophets and crucify Jesus Christ.
Our brother Judah (Jews) did NOT
kill the Messiah though they have taken the blame by the Biblically uneducated.
Let's return to 1 Thes. chapter
2 and repeat verse 14 to restage the context in our minds.
1 Thes.
2:14
For ye, brethren,
became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus:
for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they
have of the Jews:
The Jews Paul is speaking of
are the kenites, the bad figs.
1 Thes.
2:15
Who both killed
the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted
us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:
Nice people wouldn't you say?
They are murderers and persecutors
of Christians and God doesn't like it!
Jesus Christ really "gives it to
them" and exposes their MO's (Methods of Operation) in the 23rd chapter
of Matthew where He documents what we just said regarding the lineage of
Cain.
Kayin first murdered Abel and his
offspring the Kayinites (Kenites) have continued in his evil spirit all
down through the ages.
Matthew
23:35
That upon you
may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of
righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew
between the temple and the altar.
Today the kenites continue
telling Christians that they are God's chosen people.
They didn't fool Jesus Christ.
Do they have you fooled?
Paul continues:
1 Thes.
2:16
Forbidding us
to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins
alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.
"Forbidding" means to "hinder".
The kenites, doing the will of their
father (with a little "f"), were busy THEN interfering and trying to hinder
the spread of Christianity and they are busy NOW doing the same thing.
But don't worry, the victory is
ours and they shall receive the wrath of God when His children receive
their
rewards and crowns.
[17]But
we, brethren, being taken from you for a short time in presence, not in
heart, endeavoured the more abundantly to see your face with great desire.
[18]Wherefore
we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered
us.
This same Paul who longed to
go visit the Thessalonians would later write in Romans 8:28, "And we know
that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them
who
are the called according to his purpose."
Paul was called according to his
purpose (Eph. 1:4).
Were you?
You see, Paul was inspired to write
to the Thessalonians because it didn't work out according to his desires
to personally go visit his friends, did it?
BUT LOOK, as result of Paul not
making that trip, because he-thinks-he's-so-smart-Satan hindered him, we
have these two precious letters he wrote to the Thessalonians jam-packed
with information about the events leading up to and including the return
of Jesus Christ.
Think about the HUGE VICTORY in
this!
Instead of visiting just the Thessalonians
our Father saw to it that Paul visited ALL Christians, especially us Christians
of this final generation who would use Paul's letters to TEACH and to EXPOSE
that wicked one, Satan, as a fraud, i.e. as the son of perdition who will
COME FIRST, before we gather back to Christ, and claim to be the Messiah.
I'll bet Satan now wishes he had
not hindered Paul's visit to Thessalonica!
The sucker was had Big Time!
1 Thes.
2:19
For what is
our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence
of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?
[20]For
ye are our glory and joy.
Paul and company will be so
ecstatic at the return of our Lord Jesus Christ when we all gather back
to Him, and there they are, all his friends from Thessalonica, standing
with him and Silas and Timothy, etc., at the victory celebration ceremony
in the glorious presence of the King of kings and Lord of lords!
[20]For
ye are our glory and joy.
You want to know something?
If you like happy endings, you have
to love being a Christian.
To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits;
to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy
Spirit, you accomplish both.

10:11 Now all these things happened unto them {the
ancient Israelites} for
ensamples, and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends
of the world are come.
