Pamphlet 6056 Isaiah KC 13-1 xxx

There are many who claim to be saved or even "born again" Christians and yet they are often not only shaken by the "earthquakes" that are happening in all areas of society these days, but they are also anxious and worrisome over the uncertainties that tomorrow might bring their way.

The reason for their fears and anxieties is because they are void of the rich knowledge and wisdom of their Father's Word that contains not only all the major news of what is happening in the world today but also that which shall yet happen tomorrow, including the in-depth analysis by the prophets of Almighty God telling us why these events are happening and the end results of their having taken place.

As Jesus Christ said Mark 13:23, "But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things."

The sad part is that rather than turn to their heavenly Father to fill that void and freely receive the wise counsel of His Word that would bring them true peace of mind and happiness, multiple millions of our beloved brothers and sisters have among other things turned to their doctors and psychiatrists who end up sending them to their local druggists for sedatives and legally prescribed mind altering drugs to magically ease the stress of their lack of faith and dearth of knowledge and wisdom.

By the way, do you know what the Greek word translated "sorcerers" is in the New Testament?

Here it is taken directly from Strong's Concordance:

sorcerers, pharmakeus, far-mak-yoos', Greek 5332; from pharmakon (a drug, i.e. spell-giving potion); a druggist ("pharmacist") or poisoner, i.e. (by extension) a magician :- sorcerer.
Those who study His Word (2 Tim. 2:15) and absorb the light of truth do not walk in the darkness of ignorance but are become "children of that light" (1 Thes. 5:4-5).

And in knowing the truth they are set free not only from the bonds of the traditions of men but from all the worry and anxiety of what is happening in the world. John 8:32 "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

You "see", the wise virgins (Christians) in this final generation are those who know and study their Father's Word and have seen from His Word that all the historical events foretold of before they happened did occur exactly as they were written, and that the events of today, such as globalization and the New World Order, etc., are also happening exactly as they were foretold!

That gives them the faith based on a solid foundation, a sure and sound track record, to know that what His Word declares shall yet occur, such as the casting out of Satan and his angels at the sound of the 6th Trump in Rev. 12:7-9, shall likewise occur exactly as it is written.

This is the kind of faith Paul taught us about in Hebrews 11:1 when he said that "faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

"Sub-stance" in Greek is "hupo-stasis" and means that which is "under" you upon which you "stand", i.e. your support system.

substance, hupostasis, hoop-os'-tas-is, Greek 5287; from a compound of Greek 5259 (hupo) and Greek 2476 (histemi); a setting under (support), i.e. (figurative) concrete essence, or abstract assurance (object or subject) :- confidence, confident, person, substance.
If you "stand upon the Rock", meaning your faith is firmly rooted in Jesus Christ, the Word of God, then your faith is rock solid indeed and you cannot be shaken when the mighty winds (ruach) blow!

However, if your faith is built upon the traditions of men, which are analogous to sand, then you are going to stumble and fall in the great deception of these last days. It is written and so shall it be.

Matthew 7:24-27
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
Do you "hear the sayings" of Jesus Christ and "do them" because you love to study His Word and follow His ways?
[25] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

[26] And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

[27] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
