The Constitution Party

 Dauphin County Constitution Committee

asks

Will We

be

Better Off?

When Our Government succeeds in making private ownership of guns illegal; will our children be better off?

If so,
wouldn't our children also be better off if match books and cigarette lighters were declared illegal?
Wouldn't many less children be killed in fires,
both accidental and arson?

If only one child were to be saved is it not worth the inconvenience to us all?

If so,
We already know the dangers of fatty food intake.
If our government should declare hamburger illegal to own or cook,
we would not spend nearly what we currently do for health care,
and our children would certainly be better off;

If only one child were to be saved is it not worth the inconvenience to us all?

If so,
The birth rate is rising and creating alarmingly high population statistics.
If government would require half of the population to be neutered we could cut the birth rate in half.
Wouldn't the children who are then born be much better off and their future much brighter?

If only one child were to be better off is it not worth the inconvenience to us all?

If so,
Hard candy!
How many children do you suppose choke on hard candy each year?
If our government were to make hard candy illegal we could save those children.

If only one child were to be saved wouldn't it be worth the inconvenience to us all?

If so,
Pillows,
we are constantly hearing about children suffocating during their sleep because a pillow covered their face.
Pillows are not necessary and should be outlawed.

If only one child was to be saved would it not be worth the inconvenience to us all?

If so,
Swimming pools,
children and adults are always drowning in swimming pools.
They should be outlawed.
Wouldn't it be better for us all and worth the inconvenience if government just plain outlawed them?

If only one child was to be saved would it not be worth the inconvenience to us all?

If so,
Helmets,
children and adults are always receiving head injuries while riding bicycles and motor cycles.
Wouldn't both be better off if we made it illegal to ride a bike without wearing a helmet?

Oh!
We've already done that; and we still have head injuries!
Then should we not outlaw the riding of bikes?

If only one child was to be saved would it not be worth the inconvenience to us all?

If so,
Cigarettes,
we have already taken steps to prevent our children from becoming addicted to nicotine
because of the high cost of medical expense from lung cancer.

Should we do something about the drain on our health care system
by the people who live longer then smokers by twenty or thirty years?

Their health care requirements,
which are many times caused by unwise behavior should be evaluated!

A good case for outlawing automobiles

Seat belts,
We would all be safer if we wore seat belts while traveling in an automobile.
We should make it illegal to travel without a seat belt.

OH!
We already did that; and we still have injuries.

Then we should outlaw automobile travel!

After all with the advent of the computer
most people will eventually be working from home
so there is no legitimate reason for automobile travel!

Outlawing Automobiles would also eliminate our driving under the influence problem;
which is further justification for government to make automobile travel illegal.

This would also solve the problem we now have of unconstitutional sobriety check points!

Why stop there?

We can go on and on with examples of things we Americans use and do that cause loss of life,
health or injury.

Of all the things mentioned,
there isn't one that if lost could permanently cost us our total freedom,

except the loss of our guns;
yet gun ownership and access
seems to be the one thing we are most willing
to allow government to restrict.

What can it hurt?

Every dictatorship or communist country in the world
first had to confiscate private citizens weapons.

Don't you not think we may have a potential dictator want-to-be in our country?

What if?

What if, one year,
the out-going president of the United States,
after putting all his loyal cohorts in positions of power as Military leaders,
Heads of the CIA and the FBI, Police Commissioners of major cities, etc.,

decided he wasn't going to step down
and "we the people" were no longer armed?

This is a fact!

Since the dawn of human history,
those with weapons rule;
those without weapons,
serve.

Look at the world prior to 1776;

that is exactly where the world will return
within thirty years of the disarming of Americas private citizens.

No Free America without private weapons ownership!

In 1776,

if the King of England and his British Troops had been successful,

at Lexington and Concord, confiscating our forefathers weapons

like they had been successful in Boston;

then disarming the rest of Massachusetts

and after that Virginia, New York and Pennsylvania

and if our forefathers had allowed that to happen,

our "representative republic" form of government
would never have been born in America

and much of the freedom enjoyed by people
in the rest of the world
would never have come about..

We are taking our freedom too lightly!

If we allow our government to succeed in taking our guns
we will then have to depend on outlaws to regain our freedoms.

I don't know about you,
but I don't want to place my future well being in the hands of outlaws!

If we continue to support the two major parties
who have taken us to where we are,

I fear for our future.

I call on good Citizens

whatever your race

the rich and the poor,

the strong and the weak,

from our smallest towns,

to our largest cities,

all of us living in Pennsylvania

and out of Pennsylvania

to change your party affiliation;

become a member of the Constitution Party;

become a principled candidate

for Local office,

for County office,

for State office,

for National office;

You don't want to become a candidate?

You can still help!

work to help elect

principled Constitution Party candidates;

help us pass out literature

help us man polling places on election day

help us by making phone calls

vote for

Principled Constitution Party candidates.

Constitution Party

Statement of Principles

We recognize and affirm the God-given dignity of the individual and believe that the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States of America, and the Pennsylvania Declaration of Rights most clearly articulate this basic principle. To restore and preserve that fundamental human dignity, we proclaim:

That every individual has a paramount right to life from conception until natural death and the government shall not infringe upon that right.

That the right of citizens to keep and bear arms in defense of themselves and others shall not be questioned.

That the freedom to own, use, exchange, control, protect, and freely dispose of property and other assets is an inseparable extension of the individual's inalienable rights.

That the primary unit of society is the family (persons related by blood, marriage, or adoption) and it must be accorded all rights and responsibilities to direct care of its members, particularly in the areas of education, health care, discipline, and the upbringing of children without government interference.

That the United States of America is a sovereign nation and therefore must maintain control over its own affairs.

That guided by Divine Providence, our Founding Fathers established this nation on Judeo-Christian principles and therefore the right to the free exercise of religious beliefs is inviolate.

That our government is one of limited, delegated powers operating as a republic within the confines of the Constitution of the United States of America. The federal government derives its authority from its sovereign citizens and it is to be their servant, not their master.
