If anyone tells you Jesus Christ can return at any moment,
don't you believe it just because he claims to be a Christian preacher or minister, etc!

The time is fast approaching when the gulf war in heaven takes place
and Satan and his angels are cast out of heaven to this earth (Rev. 12:7-9).
At that time the old red dragon, disguised as an angel of light,
will once again exalt himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped,
and he shall sit in the temple of God, in the midst of His people, and claim that he is God.
And as it is written, he will perform great signs and miracles in the sight of men
to deceive the whole world and give credentials to his false claim.
This MUST happen before Jesus Christ returns at the sound of the 7th Trump and we gather back to Him.
So do not be deceived by the words and traditions of men who teach an "any moment" rapture theory.
"Hear the voice of your Father" through His Word and listen to what He tells you is going to happen.

2 Thes. 2:1-12
Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

The subject is "the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ" and our "gathering together to Him".

[2] That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

If anyone tells you Jesus Christ can return at any moment,
don't you believe it just because he claims to be a Christian preacher or minister, etc!
Have you not read that the very first thing Christ warned us about in Matthew 24 and Mark 13
is that the majority of those claiming to be His representatives,
i.e. Christian preachers, ministers, priests, etc., in this final generation
will deceive the multitudes by teaching the traditions of men?

[3] Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

The false messiah, Satan, the spurious messiah, who is that "man of sin", the "son of perdition",
that abomination of desolation Satan himself,
must first come and stand in the holy place where he ought not (Mark 13:14),
claiming that he is God and deceiving the whole world
through signs and miracles into believing that he is!
Rev. 13:14 "And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live."

That hasn't happen yet, but it soon will.

[4] Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
[5] Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
[6] And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
[7] For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

The great deception and the drawing away from God's Word is already happening big time,
but soon the archangel Michael who is holding back Satan and his angels,
will step aside at the command of our Father and cast that wicked one
and his cronies out of heaven to this earth.
Woe then to the inhabiters of the earth (Rev. 12:12)!

Rev. 12:7-9
And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, [8] And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. [9] And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Paul continues with the chronological order of events in this final generation:

[8] And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

Satan is cast out of heaven at the sound of the 6th Trump
and then at the 7th Trump Jesus Christ returns as King of kings and Lord of lords
and destroys Satan's rule along with Babylon the great.

[9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

When Satan is cast out of heaven and comes to this earth,
most Christians will believe that Jesus Christ has returned,
even though Satan's very works declare who he really is...
that is to those who know their Father's Word!
Then too, it is written that when the true Christ comes
we will all be changed from our flesh bodies into our spiritual bodies,
meaning that the flesh age is over!
You "see" the problem is that our people do not seek the truth from the Word of God,
which means that they really do not love God (else they would keep His commands, Jn. 14)
and so it is that they are easily led astray by the son of perdition.

[10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

You must believe in Jesus Christ in order to be saved, right (Jn. 3:16)?
The problem is our people cannot tell the true Jesus, who is the Living Word of God,
from the false Jesus who is the one taught by the traditions of men.
And so it is that they will demonstrate by their very actions which Jesus they worship
when Satan comes claiming to be God,
because most will believe the big liar is who he claims to be.

[11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
[12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The choice is theirs and they will have made their choice!
Unfortunately those who follow after the false messiah will not only be surprised
but very ashamed when at the sound of the 7th Trump the real Bridegroom returns
and they discover they have been had, seduced, by a slick, sweet talking imposter!
Well, they will have a thousand years to get their act together
and in our next study we will continue with the message and teaching that shall continue
throughout the Millennium as the people "consider" the man who caused the destruction of two earth ages!
To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
