But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

In Mark 13:17 Jesus said, "But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!"

We know the lesson is spiritual because in 1 Corinthians Paul told us this - 1 Corinthians 10:1  Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; and in 1 Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. 1 Corinthians 10:12  Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Here it is. - Genesis 6:1  And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
2  That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
3  And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. 4  There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

Actually Jude tell us this in the new testament also. - Jude  1:6  And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Yes, we know that this mating of angels who came to earth with out waiting their turn to be born of water, born through the womb of woman, and the resulting offspring was the reason for Noah's flood.  Noah and his immediate family were the only descendants of eighth day man left on earth at the time who were perfect in their generations. In order to preserve a pure blood line for Jesus Christ, the savior, to be born into, God needed to rid the land of these offspring.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45  And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

6  And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.
7  And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.
8  And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.
9  And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.
10  And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.
11  And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.
12  One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.
