Pamphlet #8006 Ezekiel chapter 6
 When our Father chastises us, His children, in the flesh, it is for the GOOD OF OUR SOULS?

Here in chapter 6 The Lord God, Adonai Yahveh, is still here on earth speaking to Ezekiel, His servant, the priest and the prophet, who after eating the entire scroll laid before him was made a watchman unto the House of Israel. (The Lord's Highly Polished Spectrum Bronze Vehicle doesn't depart for heaven until chapter 11 verse 24. He's got a lot more to say until then.)

We have graphically SEEN by model and demonstration the famine, the siege [captivity], and the punishment of Jerusalem and God's people, including their scattering, brought about by their obstinate rebellion and total disregard for His laws and His Word! They have forsaken Him and become religious whores! This is no small matter to our Father considering that He made a personal visit to MAKE CLEAR the understanding that He means EXACTLY what He says and will execute judgment according to the Covenant He made with them at Mount Sinai!

Now Ezekiel, the watchman, is going to receive specific instructions directly from the LORD regarding the message that He wants delivered to His people! If you have eyes to see and ears to hear and are therefore a watchman in this final generation, then this set of instructions is for you!

Ezekiel 6:1
And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

[2] Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,

[3] And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.

"High places" are places of worship (see Num. 22:41, 33:52). And even today our people have  brought  abominations and heathen practices into their churches and serve "bread" mixed with Satan's dung there! The Lord God is NOT happy about it, and here is what He is going to do about it!

[4] And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.

[5] And I will lay the dead carcases of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones** round about your altars.

Leviticus 26:30
And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.

**Note: Later in the 37th chapter of this book, Ezekiel the Watchman will speak to the "dry bones" in the valley of Israel, symbolizing those who are spiritually dead, even the whole House of Israel. Ezekiel 37:11 "Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel...", and they will come to life.

Ezekiel 6:6
In all your dwellingplaces the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.

Leviticus 26:31
And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours.

Ezekiel 6:7
And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

Yet from the beginning, from before the foundation of this earth age (Eph. 1:4), God chose some of His children who were faithful to Him and stood against Satan at his rebellion during the first earth age, to be a remnant, His elect, to carry forth His truth among His scattered and scatter-brained people wherever they live today, whether it be in Europe or America.

Ezekiel 6:8
Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may have some that shall escape the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries.

[9] And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall lothe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.

They are going to find out real soon that the LORD God means business! The king of Babylon (Satan) is coming at the sound of the 6th Trump to take them captive and they will fall by the famine and the sword and the pestilence! Read Amos 8:11 if you don't know what that means!

[10] And they shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.

Ezekiel 6:11
Thus saith the Lord GOD; Smite with thine hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.

Most of us distance ourselves from what God teaches us through the prophets, thinking OH, He's talking to the JEWS in the old testament, NOT US GOOD CHRISTIANS.  God couldn't possibly see anything wrong with us teaching our children to worship the "queen of Ashtoreth" by hunting Ashtoreth fertility, quick like a bunny, eggs on the church lawn instead of celebrating the passover.  Or teaching our children that Eve sinned by eating an apple in the garden. YES SIR RE. BOB! That was a really bad thing to do because God said "don't eat that apple!  Now Johnny, be sure to eat the APPLE I PACKED IN YOUR SCHOOL LUNCH! The Bible tells us the truth! But, You have to read it and find the truth!  Or adults believing that to take a drink of a fermented beverage is sinful, all because they were told that in church; while they themselves have not spent enough time reading the Bible to know that most all examples of physical activity described in the Bible are there to teach us a "spiritual lesson". The Bible tells us the truth! But, You have to read it and find the truth!  I even sat in church one time (I won't name the denomination) and listened to a invited "so-called expert guest speaker" tell us, and children were in attendance, that the age of the dinosaurs and their size is all fabricated and that the scientists are lying, the earth in only 6000 years old! The Bible tells us the truth! But, You have to read it and find the truth! I once had a conversation with a long time church going lady who insisted that she knew the Lord was going to come and rapture her out of here before the tribulation begins. If her soul was saved, what was her concern about the tribulation anyway if she was to be gone before it started? Question. Where did she learn this? Answer. From her pastor! The Bible tells us the truth! But, You have to read it and find the truth! Don't get me started on the three days and three nights Christ spent in the tomb, only lasting from Friday evening until sunrise Sunday morning. The Bible tells us the truth! But, You have to read it and find the truth! Or why the shepherds had their flocks of sheep out to pasture in the middle of winter, if Jesus was really born on December 25th. The Bible tells us the truth! But, You have to read it and find the truth! Or why the manger has three wise men standing around it when my Bible says they went to the house where Jesus lived, at what age I don't know, The Bible tells us the truth! But, You have to read it and find the truth! Or why Herod slaughtered boys 2 years and younger if the wisemen were searching for a new born baby Jesus. The Bible tells us the truth! But, You have to read it and find the truth! Or teaching our children that Satan is some weird dude with horns and a pitch fork; never mentioning that he was a very handsome, charismatic preacher in the first earth age. The Bible tells us the truth! But, You have to read it and find the truth! I could go on and on but.... Sorry for the sermon, I get so frustrated that our churches aren't teaching Biblical truths, chapter by chapter, line by line, word for word! Teaching Biblical Truth, as in "THUS SAITH THE LORD GOD" might hurt the collection plate, you know!

Yes, In Ezekiel chapter 6 God's prophecy is directed right at we Christians, not the Jews!  WELL IS IS also DIRECTED TO THE GOOD JEWS (FIGS), BUT NOT TO THE BAD JEWS (FIGS)! 

Jump up and down, stomp your feet, clap your hands together, do what it takes to get their attention and WARN THEM and say "Alas, for all the evil abominations of the House of Israel!  Get ready to be SEVERELY CHASTISED by your Father!"

Ezekiel 6:12 He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that remaineth and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my fury upon them.

The time is soon coming when "they" WILL KNOW that He is the LORD and there is none other! What a marvelous blessing it is to know that now!

[13] Then shall ye know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols.

Now our Father could have held judgment for ALL the other children as well, and many would have received the same sentence as the rebellious one, (Satan), for they did also rebel. However, He POSTPONED judgment for the rest until after the Millennium when the plan of salvation, the plan to salvage His rebellious children and bring them back to Him, is complete.

That is why you are living here on earth, THIS TIME, in a flesh and blood, animal body! 

You see, we, His children, can learn a great deal while dwelling in this flesh body, we can experience pain and suffering and hunger and even die, the shadow of death talked about in the 23rd. PSALM, WITHOUT injuring/loosing our soul! Of course we all know that BOTH the "saved" and the "unsaved" die in the flesh (the shadow death), for as Hebrews 9:27 says "..it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment". The saved received eternal life at Christ's return, but for the unsaved, after 1000 years of discipline and discernment lessons, "that judgment", which takes place after the Millennium is the one that determines the fate of your/their soul. 

If you are sentenced, at the Great White Throne of Judgment, to die the second death, the death of the soul, YOU'RE GONE FOREVER! 

That is why Jesus said don't fear them which can kill the body. Death in the flesh is NOT FINAL. Killing your body does not kill your soul, only God can do that!

Matthew 10:28
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Ezekiel 6:14
So will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

After a event here on earth where people are hurt, maybe even killed, we often hear people ask, "How could a loving God allow such a thing to happen?"

Well, the hand our Father stretches out upon His children could be to destroy their souls, couldn't it?

But by His grace and by the incredible wisdom built into His plan of salvation, He can stretch out His hand upon them, while they are still in their flesh, without destroying their souls: and because of His love for them, because He cares enough for His children to discipline them EXACTLY as He said He would: they SHALL KNOW that He is the LORD! Therefore; by learning the difference between what is holy (Jesus) and what is profane (Satan), while still is the flesh, save their souls by not rejecting Him to again follow Satan at the end of the Millennium.
