Caution to students of God's Word - Please remember two things when using our American Wisdom Series studies:
#1. Our commentary is not God's Word. It is only our interpretation or understanding of "His Word" and even though we try our best to be accurate we may or may not be correct. #2. The King James translation, or any other translation, of the original Hebrew text has some words which were given different translations at different places probably because of the interpreters preconceived ideas of what they think God meant to say. For example: According to the notes in the "Drake's Annotated Reference Bible" the Hebrew word hayah in the KJV is Trans. (became) 67 times, (becamest or came to pass) 505 times, (become) 66 times, and (come to pass) 131 times, but for some reason in Genesis 1:2 it is translated (was)! That sure changes the way a person perceives the original creation of the earth, doesn't it?  Gen. 1:2 And the earth was (became) without form, ... Having said that, let us continue with our "studies". These studies contain knowledge, we believe, you must have to fully and accurately unlock and understand the Word of God.

     Matthew 23 ended with our Lord telling his disciple’s about His second coming.  These twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ were with him for the past three years, and Jesus told them that He came into the World for the purpose of being crucified.  Jesus told these Apostles "Behold, your house is left unto you desolate."  Then as that chapter ended, Jesus said in Matthew 23:39 ; "For I say unto you, Ye shall not see Me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord."  Jesus was speaking here of His second advent, when He returns to earth as King of kings and Lord of lords, which is and will be at the sounding of the seventh and last trumpet, as revealed to apostle John, just as Jesus spoke to him about the day of the Lord in the book of Revelation.

     Jesus was with his disciples in the Temple during that time of the Passover feast in Jerusalem when He and His disciples departed out of the Temple, and went out on a hillside overlooking the awesome structure of the Temple.  Then Jesus started telling them in Matthew 24 all of the things that would come to pass just before His return at the seventh trump.  These are the things that we ought to be looking for in our day.  The key of understanding is, knowing all the things that will happen just before the glorious day of the Lord's return.

    At the top of the warning list given to His disciples was, "Take heed that no man deceive you. For Many shall come in My name, saying; `I am Christ;' and shall deceive many." (Matthew 24:4, 5) 

     We must understand that the things that are going on around us today is what was going on in the days of Noah.  Those things that were happening then will be common in our day, in this generation of "the parable of the Fig Tree". Jesus warned us in the 32nd verse, "Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branches yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh."   Remember that the entire subject of the twenty forth chapter of Matthew is the event that will take place just before the return of our Lord, and the parable of the fig tree was one of those things to watch for.

Mark 13:28, 29; "Now learn a parable of the fig tree; when her branches is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near," [28] "So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh even at the doors." [29]

     There is no disagreement that this tender fig tree is that nation of the Jews called Israel of today. This tender fig tree was established by the decree of the Belfour Agreement on May 15, 1948.  That is when this tender fig tree nation came into being.  That was the start of the final generation of this earth age of flesh man living on this earth.  Jesus said in Matthew 24:34, 35; "Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." [34] "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away." [35]

The Apostle Paul warned us in Ephesians 6:10, 11; "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might." [10] "Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." [11] You put on armor to give yourself protection when a battle is to be fought. And the battle that is spoken of here is that time in the near future when Satan and his fallen angels will be here on earth trying to deceive all the people living here in their flesh and blood bodies.  He will be presenting himself as the one true Christ, when in fact he is the fake, the antichrist, or better said; "instead of Christ". 

     Paul told us exactly what that battle will be about in Ephesians 6:12 , 13;  "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." [12] "Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." [13] 

     Satan is supernatural, and his angels are supernatural just as he is.  They will come into our realm or dimension that human beings exist in, and they will have their supernatural powers to do what they will do to get you to believe that they are God, and his angels.  The armor that God has told you to put on is the entire Word of God, from Genesis to Revelation. God's Word is the only warning that will keep you informed as to what the entire plan of God is, so that when our generation faces the presence of those from that darkness and spiritual wickedness, we will see those things for what they are, and where they came from.  God is telling you this is going to happen, and it will happen exactly as He told you it would. This is why the "Whole armour of God" is necessary; it is the only thing that will allow you "be able to withstand in the evil day" against Satan.

     Satan will use the Scripture to deceive those in our generation that just don't care to take the time to read and study all of the Scripture of God.  They say that we are living in New Testament times, and the Old Testament just doesn't matter, and if that is your attitude, you will be deceived.  The Old Testament gives us the examples and warnings as how it shall be in these end times.  It gives us stories of events that men of God faced in the distant past, and relates them as warning for those of us living in this time of the end.  Paul said after reviewing many of the events of the Old Testament, in I Corinthians10:11 , 12 "Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come." [11] "Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall." [12]

     When you rely on some tradition or thought that has been peddled down through the years, you are placing your eternal life on a hear-say, and not on the Scriptures.  When our Lord taught, He would continually ask; "Haven't you read?"; or say "It is written..." and then go to the writings of a prophet such as Moses, or Daniel or another old testament Prophets of God, to give His example.  Yet many Christians today would sooner chase after stories of "apples", rather than understand what really happened in the Garden of Eden, when Eve had her two sons.  They would rather chase after pie in the sky promises, such as the rapture doctrine, and close their mind to the truth, then read in Ezekiel 13:18-21, what God thinks of those that lead the souls of His people into these fairy tales.  "Wherefore thus saith the Lord God; "Behold, I am against your pillows [your coverings; traditions], wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly..." 

     The Christian world today is in a mode of questioning why they should try to see the truth and put the time in to study all the Scriptures, when they can have the Kenites do their thinking for them. [Most professing Christians don't even know who the Kenites are, or that they are setting the agenda for most of what they are taught in their church; nor do they seem to care!]  Thus you have entire ministries and denominations allowing these sons of Satan [the Kenites] to set their agenda for them.  Is it any wonder that our nation is turning away from the laws and Commandments of God as has happened over the past few decades.  

The salt of the earth has lost its savor. 

God has set up examples that are recorded in the Old Testament that are exact copies of what we are facing today in our daily lives, and He expects those of His elect to read and prepare for the events that are in his eternal plan.

That is what our Bible is, the Plan of God for this earth

age, and on into the next. 

 It is written down for you to read and understand, and seal away in your mind for those things that are going to come against our generation in these end times!

  Expect these things to happen, just as God told Jeremiah to tell the House of Judah to expect to go into the captivity under Nebuchadnezzar and the Babylonians.  And what do you know? It happened just as God told Jeremiah it would.

This study is all about the preparation we must have in our minds. We will use only the Scriptures for this study, where we can learn how it was in the days of Noah that our Lord warned us about. Because in these end times:

"It will be as it was in the days of Noah".

Editor's Note: While God calls the fallen angels who will come to earth with Satan, at the sixth trump, "scorpions",  He refers to these Kenite ancestors of Cain, who are planning and building this city, as "locusts".

Before we can discuss anything of this earth age of flesh man, we must first approach the creation of this universe and all that is within it. The mind of mankind is limited to the dimension that we are living in now, which is within our flesh bodies. Yet our Heavenly Father has opened the door to our understanding of heaven and other places where he is holding souls. We come to know by reading His written Word. If you believe that God is the creator of all things that exist, including the processes of life that go on in our earthly cycle, then you understand that YHVH the God of the Universe is worthy of our love and praise.

Revelation 4:11 "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created."

In other words, everything that you see, touch, feel and can understand come from our Heavenly Father; and the fact that you even exist causes you to give Him all the glory and honor in your life. You are a created being, just as the planets, the sun, every soul, and that includes Satan and all the angels. Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." This is a statement of fact. It does not put a time frame to the statement, but states that at a particular moment in time, or over a period of time, every thing that exists was created by God.

So before verse two of Genesis took place, many things had happened to bring this earth to a point where it was a complete ruin, and made void like it tells us it became in Genesis 1:2. And that is the first thing we will be addressing. Many people like to trace the history of Adamic man, and say that the earth was created back 6000 years ago, when Adam was formed by God. So lets go to the Scriptures to document things that the Word of God says about this time between verses one and two of Genesis.

The fact is only two bodies are mentioned in verse one of Genesis; the heaven and the earth. God has simply stated a fact, and left it completely up to our imagination to fill in the rest. However we are talking about an eternal span of time, and making something that never existed, now exist and have substance to it; so how could this happen?

We are reminded from the Wisdom of Solomon, written in Proverbs 8:22 that Wisdom is God, for all Wisdom is from God. "The Lord possessed me in the beginning of His ways, before the works of old." The "works of old" is the old earth age, spoken of in Revelation 12. The first six verses of Revelation 12 are talking about that period of time way back before the world age of flesh man we now life in; to a time in that first earth age. It is looking at some of the events that happened back in that first earth age which was after Genesis 1:1; yet before the recreation of this earth, and the things that are on it, and in the heavens.

All souls were created prior to this time, yet living in a form just as the angels are, but living here on this earth. Was it another earth? No, it was the same earth common to us today. Of that earth age we read in Revelation 12:3; "And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads."

This wonder known as the "great red dragon" is always Satan. And all the events that will happen in the end of this earth age of flesh man, will be similar to what brought about the destruction in that first earth age. Back then, there were forms of government just as today, and those systems of running that government were just as we have it today. However there are differences between the two and we will be studying the differences.

Revelation 12:4 "And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born."

The "stars of heaven" are the "sons of God", which are the souls of these heavenly beings. This is us we are talking about, "stars of heaven"/ "sons of God"/"angels"/"us"[all one in the same!] This "old dragon" caused one third of all of God's creation to follow him. In other words, one third of the billions of created beings, our brothers, that God created were deceived in that first earth age into following Satan. They did not give their love or praise to our Heavenly Father. You were created with the right to choose and follow whom ever you please. And, Satan, in that first earth age caused one third of all us created souls to chase after him and worship him instead of Our Father God.

When it states that "all living came from mother Eve", it is referring to the Messiah that will come into this world age of flesh man, through the lineage of Eve and the Virgin Mary. It is through the Messiah; Jesus the Christ that God is offering eternal life to all of mankind. Every soul that believes by faith and accepts the blood sacrifice that was given on the Cross for their sins shall be saved. This life refers to our spiritual life and celestial or soul body, not our physical body. Before we continue, let’s see what Solomon wrote in Proverbs concerning the creation, wisdom and our Heavenly Father.

Proverbs 8:23 "I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, Or ever the earth was." He is stating that Wisdom was with God, and He possessed even at the time of creating me.

Proverbs 8:24 "When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water." Even before there was an abyss, or pit, or water to fill the oceans, God's wisdom was there.

Proverbs 8:25 , 26 "Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:" [25] "While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the high part of the dust of the world." [26] God was there. Before this earth started to form the way that we know it today, God's wisdom was there to make it all happen.

Proverbs 8:27- 29 "When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set the compass upon the face of the depth:" [27] "And when he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:" [28] "When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the fountains of the earth:" [29] Wisdom was there.

In other words, there were lands, oceans, fields and lakes, and God set His commandment that they should all be separated through the "compass", and today we call that compass "gravity". This is the force that keeps us on earth, and it is because of gravity that the waves end at the shoreline, and resends back into the sea.

Isaiah 45:18 "For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God Himself That formed the earth and made it; He hath established it He created it not in vain, He formed it to be inhabited: "I am the Lord; and there is none else." "

This is God speaking as Isaiah the prophet is writing it down, and YHVH our Heavenly Father is telling us that when He created the earth, it was not created in vain or void. Thus we read in Genesis 1:2 "And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep." It had to mean that something happened from the time of creation of this wonderful earth, to the time that it was made void as described in verse two.

In the translation from the Hebrew text; the word "was" from "...the earth was without form, " We see from the original Massorah Text that it reads "...became without form..." This is the same word change that was given in Genesis 2:7 "...and man became a living soul."

This corresponds with its other use of the word in #2255, which reads; "to ruin". To ruin or "tohu" of the earth, means that total destruction had come to pass upon the surface of the earth. The second "was" in verse two was in italics type because there is no verb "to be" in the Hebrew language. The problem in translating from Hebrew to English is that the verb, "to be" is not distinguished from the verb, "to become".

The correct Hebrew translation from the Massorah Hebrew text for the words, "without form" is "tohu-va-bohu" in the Strong's Hebrew dictionary, reference #1961 to verify the word "was". "Yahah, haw-yaw; is a prime root, to exit; to become, or come to pass."

Let’s continue to find the true meaning for the word "void". #2258, in the Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary. It tells us to go to #2254 for the meaning; "Chabal, Khaw-bal; to wind tightly as a rope, to bind, to pervert, destroy, to corrupt, spoil, travail." By our search of these two verses, we see that the earth was created perfect, but something happened to cause it to become a complete ruin and was destroyed.

Peter addressed this also in II Peter 3:5, 6 "For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the Word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:" [5] "Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:" [6]

This is not talking about the flood of Noah's time like many preachers’ say; "perished" as stated here means total and complete destruction. "The world that then was" ended in total ruin through another flood prior to Noah’s day. There were no survivors on the earth; no animals, no man, no insects, nor did vegetation of any form come through this first flood.

II Peter 3:7 "But the heavens and the earth which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto the fire against the day of Judgment and perdition of ungodly men."

This then is the second heaven and earth age which we are living in now. This earth will not be destroyed until God's time of judgment on the ungodly men of this earth age comes to a close. That time of perdition or destruction is after the Millennium, and after the great white throne judgment.

II Peter 3:8 "But beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."

One week is the same as 7000 years. We are approaching the Sabbath of that week very shortly which has the name in years as, "the Millennium".

II Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

Our Heavenly Father has much patience concerning His Promises, for He is not willing to have any of His children perish along with Satan; as stated in Ezekiel 28:18 "Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring the to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee."

II Peter 3:10 "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."

"A thief in the night" is a figure of speech meaning that Christ will come at an unexpected time. This sounds like a scary time, but what does it say in the original text? These "elements" are all the evil "rudiments"; including the evil spirits, and all those forms that go to make up the idolatry of men. They will all burn at their appointed time. These elements are not elements making up the physical properties of this earth, but things that offend our Heavenly Father.

So why would our Heavenly Father want to destroy Satan and turn him to ashes from within? To understand this we have to go back to Ezekiel 28, and it will open our minds to many things in prophecy. This will take us back into that first earth age, prior to Genesis 1:2, to see what Satan was created for, and what caused his fall.

Ezekiel 28:1, 2 "The Word of the Lord came again unto me, saying," [1] " "Son of Man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, 'Thus saith the Lord God; `Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, `I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas;' yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:' ' " [2]

This word "Tyrus" means "rock", and it refers not to cities, but to an individual, Satan. The command is to this person of the lower case, "rock"; "Because thine heart is lifted up"; It was Satan's pride and self-righteousness. Satan claimed to be God when in fact he was just a created soul, just like you and me. Satan is a created being and he claimed to be God; "yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God."

Paul warned us in II Thessalonians 2:3 "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perditions," It will be no different in this earth age, then it was in that first earth age, for this "man of sin" Satan will try to deceive all the souls that he can. Satan is the "son of perdition".

The prophet Isaiah spoke of Satan's fall in Isaiah 14:12 "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!" "Lucifer" is the "fallen star", and he is also the "morning star" that shall come first just before the close of this earth age of flesh man. Satan has not been cast down to the ground yet; that time will come at the sixth trump, as recorded in Revelation 12:7-9.

Revelation 12:7-9 "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels," [7] "And prevailed not, neither was their place found any more in heaven." [8] "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." [9]

Satan was the serpent that deceived Eve, and from that deception Cain was conceived, born and became the first murderer. He, Satan, was the dragon in the first earth age, and he is the devil that deceiveth in this earth age of flesh man. This "world" age as given here is "oikoumene" in the Greek, and it refers to any age that is inhabited. This applies to both the first and the second ages, including after the Millennium when Satan is released for that short period of time. The "Kosmos" however would deal with only a specific period of time such as the first or second earth age, or the time of the great tribulation, or even the Millennium age.

Isaiah 14:13 "For thou hast said in thine heart, `I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:"

When Satan said, "I will ascend into heaven", he was declaring his intension to be God. To be over all the "stars" or children of God, including you and me. The "sides of the north", is in Jerusalem and "the mount of the congregation" is where Satan will sit when he comes to rule the earth after he is cast out of heaven. When he sits on his throne and claims to be God, Daniel called this "the abomination of desolation" in Daniel 9:27, and Jesus refers to it in Matthew 24:15. You will see this happen while living in your flesh body right here on earth. It is one of the seven signs that Jesus gave us to mark the end of this generation.

Isaiah 14:14 "`I will ascend above the heights of the clouds I will be like the Most High'."

Satan wants complete control over the heaven and earth, and this is the stated purpose of the One World System and their agencies.

Isaiah 14:15 , 16 "Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit." [15] "They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, `Is the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;" [16]

This will happen at our Lord Jesus Christ's return to set up His kingdom right here on earth. He will rule from Jerusalem through that Millennium period, and we will discuss this period later in this study. So why would Satan even start to consider himself to be on the level with God? The answer is because God created Satan in the full pattern of God's creation.

Ezekiel 28:3, 4 "Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:" [3] "With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:" [4]

Editor's Note: This verse reminds me of something that has bothered me for some time. 

I think to myself, Why, if Satan has already been sentenced to death, and knows it. What does he expect to gain?  

I remember reading in Revelation that he knows he only has a short time. If he knows he only has five months to get the whole world to worship him and then he is going to die. Why, would he even bother? 

The Holy Spirit just now placed a  explanation in my mind. 

It is some thing I knew before, as it applies to man, But I never before thought about it also applying to Satan. 

We, you and I never saw any one die "what we call the second death" [The death of our soul] I have known for a long time now that we humans could not really appreciate the finality of death while living in the first earth age, because none of us had ever died. 

That is why God placed us here in this earth age in animal like bodies; So we can see our loved one die physically; hereby, learning to appreciate the finality of physical death. Hopefully using that information to cause us to want to avoid spiritual death. [the death of our soul.]

  Wow! 

That was long!

But, what the Holy Spirit just placed in my mind is; 

Satan, also does not appreciate the finality of death.

He like us has never spiritually lost a brother.

Non of God's created spiritual beings life has ever

ended! 

Satan is not convinced he can die!

He really thinks he can be God!

If you think that you can out-smart Satan, think again, for even Daniel did not have the wisdom and understanding that Satan has. He knows the Scriptures, and he will twist and distort them to cause you to believe a lie. If you think that Satan is that ugly one that people like to portray him as, think again; for Satan was created in full beauty.

Ezekiel 28:12 "Son of man [Ezekiel], take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, `Thus saith the Lord God; `Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty."

This is identifying Satan as one created, and when he was finished God made him full of wisdom and beauty for a purpose. With the twelfth verse God is changing his title from a prince of God's kingdom, to the king of his own fallen kingdom.

Ezekiel 28:13 "Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, and sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created."

There are ten precious stones mentioned here and each of these stone are mentioned as being in the breastplate of the High Priest.

This reference of Eden is not to make it a legend, but stating a reality. Satan was in the Garden of Eden, and he deceived Eve into having a child by him. That child's name was Cain, and the Kenites are the sons of Cain. Until you come to understand of this fact, you will never really understand many of the truths of the Scriptures. The other point here is that Satan was a created being, just as you and I are. He was created to perform a special mission with his life. The point is that Satan is a finite being, limited in his abilities, yet still supernatural and full of wisdom.

Ezekiel 28:14, 15 "Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God ; thou has walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire." [14] "Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee." [15]

Now we know that Satan is a cherub and not a man, because Satan has never existed nor lived in the body of a human. Satan was created to fill the position of cherub, at the altar of God, and it was no accident that Satan was placed there. He was anointed for that position to give service to our Heavenly Father. Yet he was a loser, he couldn't focus on his mission and fell from the grace of God. God made him a guard at the altar of God, and because of his pride, he tried to assume the very power that he was assigned to protect.

If Satan couldn't keep that simple promise, do you think that he will keep any promise that he makes to you. Satan is a con artist he will promise anything to you if you will worship him, and once you have, your soul will be lost just like his. So how will Satan use his skills to draw you to him?

Ezekiel 28:16 "By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God : and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire."

This is the overthrow in the world that once was, in that first earth age. God told Satan that he was removed from the altar of God, from the midst of the stones of fire. Satan will use the same methods in this earth age as he did in the first earth age. He will buy your soul if you let him, for he is the merchandiser of souls. Shortly he will be here on earth, and God will allow him to use his supernatural powers to offer you what ever it will take to buy your soul. Satan will lie, and use all of his supernatural powers to trick you into worshipping him, and many, if not most Christians, will bow down to him. All those angels coming with Satan will also be supernatural; they have one mission and that is to deceive the entire world for that five months period of time.

Ezekiel 28:17 "Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee."

Satan's heart or self pride was lifted up when he saw his great beauty, and the respect that he received while at the mercy seat of God. The moment Satan started to believe his own lies, his self pride took control of him. Great wisdom, beauty and brightness can be the downfall of anyone, as is very common in our world today. Those times in the first earth age, and through out this earth age, Satan will be given authority to test his children, but at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ it will all be over for him. Then the whole world will see Satan for what he is, just another created being.

Ezekiel 28:18 "Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee."

God gave Satan every chance for salvation, just as you and I have, but Satan refused to take God's offer. Satan strived to gain control and rule as God. Each time Satan sinned, this pride increased, to where God said that He would bring a fire in the midst of him, to destroy him. Satan will be the first one to walk into the lake of fire at the end of the Millennium age, and many will gladly follow him to their destruction.

God will give you every chance to turn from your sins and follow him, for even in the Millennium age when Christ is here with us; many that have followed Satan in their ignorance will be saved by their works at this time.

Revelation 19:19 , 20 "And I say the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army." [19] "And the beast was taken, and with him [Satan] the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone." [20]

Satan caused the ruin of that first earth age, and that caused YHVH our Heavenly Father to destroy that first earth age. This happened between Genesis 1:1, and 1:2 for by the time Genesis 1:2 started, the entire earth, moon, stars and universe around us in this dimension had to be completely remade.

Revelation 12:4 "And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered for to devour her child as soon as it was born."

The "stars" spoken of here are all of God created children and this is taking place in that first earth age. One third of all of God's children was deceived by Satan, and went to follow him. The dragon is Satan's role in the first earth age, and the "devil" is his role in this second earth age. He also played the role of the deceiver in the Garden of Eden against Eve, and Satan received the title of the serpent at that time.

The purpose of this part of our study is to draw your attention to who this created being Satan is, and what his role is in God's plan, and what caused his fall, that drew so many of God's children with him. In the first earth age so many souls followed Satan that God had to either destroy His children, or that age that they were living in. In God's mercy and love, He chose to destroy that first earth age, and all that was part of it, and then he created a new approach for His children to come to Him. God not only destroyed that old way, but He makes our memory void of that first earth age, when we are born into this new earth age of flesh man.

Mankind likes to toy and devise systems for figuring out their existence, and from their ideas come ways of deceiving themselves into believing a lie. 

Today Satan's kids, the Kenites, are virtually taking over the One World Order, and trying to take God out of all parts of our lives

They are redefining the things of God, and tampering with the very creation of God's order.

Early mankind was born into this earth age, and lived almost a thousand years before dying, yet as mankind continued down their path of sin, those long life spans have been shortened. 

God has given us a set of laws to govern our lives, and the community around us. He gave us a set of health laws telling us that some animals and wild life are not to be eaten, yet people mistakenly like to say, those laws don't apply to us today, because we are living in this New Testament age.

We won't take the time or space to get into that discussion here! we will only say, "It is wrong."

Let's talk about "The Kenites"

Understanding who the Kenites are, and identifying them is the important part in understanding the "Key of David." 

The book of Revelation chapters two and three discussed seven churches that will exist in the end times. Of these seven churches, only two had the "Key of David", and could identify the "blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan".

Those two churches are the churches of Smyrna and Philadelphia. They know who the Kenites are, and God blesses them for their understanding.

Before we look at the results of Eve's sin, we must understand what happened in the Garden of Eden, to cause this sin to come about.

Genesis 3:1, 2, 3 "Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he [Satan, as the serpent] said unto the woman, "Yea, hath God said, `Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden'? " [1] "And the woman said unto the serpent, "We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the Garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, `Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.' " [2, 3]

The serpent and the trees represent men, and the reference to "beast" also includes men, in fact God called Himself the Evergreen thee, or fir tree in Ezekiel 31:8. Satan had many titles as we read in Revelation 20:2; "And He laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan," so Satan is the person called the serpent here in Genesis 3 because he was more subtle than any other form of mankind. He was created in the perfect pattern, full of wisdom and understanding as we shall cover in our study later.

When Satan asked the question to Eve, "Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the Garden?" He was not asking the question for the sake of inquiring, but to draw her attention to the matter, like the questions asked by a slick car salesman. The purpose of the question is to break down the resistance of the client so they will buy the goods. The key to overcoming the mental barrier of a person is by telling a series of half truths so they will accept what you say, where by twisting their mind so that they will go along with what they are trying to sell to them.

Satan's quotation of God, "Ye shall not eat of every tree of the Garden?" is stated in the form of a lie from what God actually stated in Genesis 2:16, 17. The exception to "every tree" was, "...but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat." This was Satan's first utterance of Scripture, and it shows from the start his opposition to God's Word. God's Word from the first earth age sentenced Satan to death, and that is why only he is called the "son of perdition.

Satan took God's Word "Thou shalt surly die", and in the confusion of twisting the Word of God, Satan states "lest ye die". By the way, are we talking about apple trees here, and apples as the fruit of Eve's sin? No, we are talking about the man Satan, and the woman Eve. The fruit that comes from the union of man and women are not apples, but children. Paul referred to this seduction of Eve in II Corinthians 11:3; "But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his suability, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ." In other words stay within the Word of God.

The word "beguiled" in the Greek is # 1818; "exapatao, from #1537 and #538, to seduce wholly, to beguile" and of course this is in reference to sexual union. The point Paul is making is that Christians do not lose their "virginity" as Eve did, by being wholly seduced by the serpent [Satan].

Genesis 3:6 "And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and the tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her, and he did eat."

Are we talking about apple trees and apples here? Don't be silly; this is talking about a man deceiving a woman into sexual relations, and her husband taking part with her also. The seed from any sexual union bares babies, not apples. Once you get over this traditional nonsense of apples, then you can start to understand who the Kenites are, where they came from and what their purpose in the Scriptures will be.

We see the first prophecy concerning the coming of the

Messiah and His sacrificial offering made by his death on

the cross.

By the sexual act of Satan and then with Adam, Eve conceived two seeds and produced twins; Cain’s father was Satan, and Abel’s father was Adam. This was the sin in the Garden of Eden.

Follow along with your, Strong's Concordance with numbers and the Smiths Bible Dictionary. Look up the word. "Kenite", # 7014; "Qayin, kah'-yin; (the same as #7013, with a play on #7017); Kajin, the name of the first child, also of a place in Pal. and of an Oriental tribe, Kenite(s)." Lets go to #7017; "Qiyniy, (I Chronicles 2:55 ), Kee-nee'; Patron, from #7014; a Kenite or member of the tribe of Kajin:-Kenite."

The name, "Kenite" is from the family "of the first child, and whose offspring were oriental", and we know from Genesis 4:1 that this first child was Cain. "And Adam knew Eve his wife: and she conceived, and bore Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord." Eve was in a period of innocence here; and in the Hebrew text it states; "ish eth Jehovah". This literal version translates, "With the help of Jehovah".

Genesis 4:2 "And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground."

It's strange that Cain would draw the duties which Adam was created for. The word "again" as stated here, in the Hebrew text was "Yacaph", #3254 in the Strong's Hebrew Dictionary; "to continue, conceive again, to continue to do the same thing." So if Eve had just bare Cain, and she continued to conceive again, to do the same thing, she had another child. She had twins. These two children are not identical twins that Eve conceived, because they had two different fathers; as we see from Genesis 3:15. Identical twins are not born from the same bag of water in the mother, but they are paternal twins, born in separate bags of water, with two different fathers.

These twins were conceived with two separate conceptions, and there is no great mystery about these conceptions. So we see then that Eve continued in labor, and had her twins. Cain's father was the man Satan, and Abel's father was Adam. These two boys grew up and when they reached the time for their first offering to God, Cain brought the first fruits of his ground, and Abel brought the first fruits of his flock. God accepted Abel's offering to the Lord, but God refused Cain's offering.

Genesis 4:7 "If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him."

So what this is saying from the Hebrew text is; "If you were honest, I would accept your offering." So where did Cain get his anger, sin and dishonesty? It came from his father Satan.

Genesis 4:8, 9 "And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him."  [8] "And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother?" And he said, "I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?" "[9]

Cain knew exactly what happened to Abel, because he slew him. Cain lied to God, which is another trait he received from his father Satan. The Lord knew what happened to Abel. Jesus even talked about what happened to Abel when He was confronted by the "Kenite" scribes and Pharisees of His day.

John 8:44 "Ye are of your father the Devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."

"Ye" [to the Kenite scribes and Pharisees], are from your father the Devil. Satan is the devil, and was playing the role of the serpent when he deceived Eve and she became pregnant. Who was "a murderer from the beginning"? We just read that Cain was the first murderer when he killed Abel. Jesus called these Kenites exactly what they were. He wasn’t afraid of them.

We know that Jesus was speaking of Cain we just read about in Genesis 4:8, 9. Where did Cain get all this corruptness? It began with Cain's father Satan, Jesus knew it and spoke about it, "When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own, for he [Satan] is a liar, and the father of it [lies]". The simplicity of Jesus Christ's teaching and His Word is foolishness to many religious leaders today. As we see in Matthew 13:13 , it is not intended for their ears, and they are totally blind to God's Word. Jesus said, "because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand."

Matthew 13:14, 15 "And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:" [14] "For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed: lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them." [15]

These Kenites are the people that God does not intend to offer His salvation to in this earth age. If they do hear and confess though, God will save them. Though it sounds like a contradiction; it is not. In the churches today the Kenites have entered and so distorted the Word of God with fairy tales and false teaching that God's people don't even know they have to be on guard against these Kenites. Confusion in the church is at an all time high, as many church leaders actually believe that God respects sodomites. The religious world is being turned upside down. Godless deception is everywhere, and most Christians are blind and can't see through all the lies. Many in innocence even take the life of their unborn, and think that the little soul's within them is just a mass of matter. They listened to Satan's lies, and they believe it, just as Eve did

.

However you must understand that everything that is happening is in the plan of God, and God is using these Kenites, sons of Satan through Cain to, test His children.

Most Christians will be deceived when Satan arrives on
earth for the great tribulation;

for they will not expect that war of the end times to be a war of words and great deception.

The battle in our life time will be when Satan arrives here on earth.

This battle is fought with words and with his twisted ideas, lies and half truths.

He will be filled with supernatural powers and the ability to out think human beings. 

This is why we are told to allow the Holy Spirit to do the talking through us.

Mark 13:11 "But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost [Spirit]."

Jesus faced these Kenites again in Matthew 23 when he told them of the eight woes. The woes are the exact opposite of the eight blessings that Jesus gave in the "sermon on the mound" in Matthew 5. At the end of giving the eight woes, Jesus called these scribes and Pharisees, "Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?" (Matthew 23:33)

The first prophesy concerning the crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ was given back in Genesis 3:15.

Let’s review it.

Genesis 3:15 "And I [God] will put enmity between thee [Satan] and the woman [Eve], and between thy seed [the Kenites] and her Seed [Jesus the Christ]; It [Jesus] shall bruise thy [Satan's] head, and thou [Satan] shalt bruise His [Christ's] heel."

Eve's Seed is Jesus Christ, Luke 3:23-38 and Matthew 1:1-16 will trace Jesus lineage all the way back to Adam.

Satan's seed are his children to the last generation, and they are called Kenites, sons of Cain. Satan's offspring are born from a sexual union between Eve and Satan [the serpent and the tree of good and evil from Genesis 3]. 

So God is telling us that He will put trouble between Eve's children through Seth, and Satan's offspring through Cain. They are called the Kenites.

It's Jesus that "shall bruise the head" of Satan, at Christ's return at the Second Advent, while it was Satan's children [the Kenites], not Judah , that bruised Jesus' heel at the cross of Calvary during his crucifixion. Spikes were driven through Jesus' heel, as he hung on the cross to pay the full price for our sins, once and for all.

Most religious leaders acknowledge that Genesis 3:15 is talking about the death of Jesus Christ, and when He was nailed to the cross for our sins. They recognize that "seed" is referring to the children of the woman "Eve". 

Yet they want to spiritualize everything else away that happened in the Garden of Eden between Eve and the two men, Adam, and Satan.

The "seed" in the Hebrew text is called "zirmah", and in the Greek it is "sperma". In our English we call this zirmah, "sperm", for in Strong's Hebrew dictionary #2233, "Posterity, carnally, child, fruitful". It can't be any clearer; the seed of Satan's posterity are the Kenites, while Adam's posterity is in Christ, through the pure bloodline of Seth, Adam's second son.

As Jesus went around the country side teaching, he gave his lessons in Parables. Understanding who these Kenites are, how and where they came from is essential in understanding the parables of Christ. 

Jesus even gave us the key to understand His parables in Matthew 13:10-12.

Matthew 13:10 "And the disciples came, and said unto Him, "Why speakest Thou into them in parables?"

Jesus disciples turned to Jesus and asked Him, "Why are you speaking in parables", in riddles that these people can not understand.

Matthew 13:11 "He answered and said unto them, "Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given."

A mystery is something that is unknown. The answer may be in plain sight, yet if you cannot put all the details together, by taking all the clues and come to an understanding of the facts, you still wont know the answer to the mystery. There are things dealing with the kingdom of heaven that seem foolish to most mankind, and will always remain hidden, unless the Spirit of the Living God reveals them. We see today many things are mysteries, and mankind is going to great lengths to understand the past, when all the time it is written in His Word. However those truths simply will not be understood because God has blinded their eyes for their own protection.

If a person understood, and was tried and tested by Satan in his role as the false-christ and his system, which is coming shortly, they would not have the ability to stand against Satan. It may be because of the lack of will power or faith; But the elect will be required to completely turn them selves over to the Holy Spirit for their protection.

Matthew 13:12 "For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath."

The subject here is reveling God’s truth to others.

If a truth is given to you, you can sow it and plant that truth in someone’s elses mind, or just sit on it.

Jesus is telling us if His Spirit opens a truth to us and we sit on it, we will not only lose the understanding of that truth, but other things from His Word, as well.

Matthew 13:13 , 14, 15 "Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand." [13] "And in them is this fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, `By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:" [14] "For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.' "[15]

Jesus Christ gave many parables to the multitudes because the Kenites followed after Christ to trip Him up. Yet all the time they missed the entire teaching. He spoke of them continually as the tares, and they just never understood that Jesus was talking about them. He told how the farmer sowed the wheat in his field, and after the seed was in the ground, along came the enemy and sowed the tares in the same field. So who are these enemies that are out to destroy truth, cause confusion, and destroy the children of God?

These are the Kenites.

Matthew 13:24, 25 "Another parable put He forth unto them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field;" [24] "But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way." [25]

To make the wheat grain fit for grinding, each grain of (Lolium temulentum) must be removed, or the bread is bitter and poisonous."

When parables were given, those who listened will remember the story, but fail to understand it’s hidden meaning. The man that owned the field sowed the good seed, and when he was resting, his enemy came to sow bad seed to destroy his crop. 

Remember from Genesis 3:15, the word given in the text for "seed" was sperm, we’re not talking about grain in this parable; This refers to children. The understanding of this parable is hidden to those who were listening.

When the servants want to go and gather the tares before the wheat is ripe, the owner tells them not to. The reason is that you might destroy some good wheat when you pull up the tares. That separation will be done later by those that harvest the crop. So many like the Disciples of Christ want to understand the lesson that Jesus was giving here.

Matthew 13:34 , 35 "All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and with out a parable spake He not unto them:" [34] "That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, saying, "I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world." [35]

Jesus did exactly as the prophets of old said that He would do, and this is how those secrets from the start of this earth age of flesh man were kept. Satan used his sons, the Kenites who continually tried to overthrow the plan of God, and it is impossible for them to succeed. Sure they will mess up millions of Christian's lives and lead them to the the false-christ Satan, but to the elect that have these truths planted in their minds, they will not be deceived. Ephesians 1:4 They made their stand in that first earth age, and for their stand, they were judged at that time and found to be without blame, and will be here in this earth age to make that stand again. tells us that the elect earned that right before the foundation of this earth age.

Matthew 13:36 "Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and His disciples came unto Him, saying, "Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field."

Jesus is not teaching the crowd here, but in the house

He is talking only to His disciples.

They want to know exactly what the parable of the tares is all about.

Jesus is going to explain it in detail, yet even today it flies over the head of most Christians.

Matthew 37, 38 "He answered and said unto them, "He that soweth the good seed is the Son of Man;" [37] "The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;" [38]

This good man had a good seed and He went out and sowed that seed in a good field, well prepared. The "Son of man" within this Greek expression is, "God in the flesh"; for the Son of God, Jesus Christ sowed the good seed. Remember that in the parable seed was a grain of wheat, which represented a different seed, called "sperma", or the seed of man; a child.

The field that Jesus is talking about is the entire world, this earth age of flesh man. The good seed are the children of God's kingdom. It did not say that these were apple seeds, or any other fruit of trees; they were children of the kingdom. Many people get all messed up and can't tell the difference between apple seed and babies. The good seed are the children of Seth, and the bad seed are the children of Satan through Cain, called Kenites. Now He tells us exactly who the enemy is: "The enemy that sowed them is the devil; and the reapers are the angels."

It can't be that hard to understand, for everyone knows that Satan is the devil, and his children through Cain are called the Kenites. Jesus just told you that Satan is the enemy, the wicked one that plants his Kenites in the midst of the good seed, in their church houses and where all good Christians go. We are not to gather those Kenites, for many of them will come to know the truth, repent and come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. That’s why the separation had to happen after the field was ripe unto harvest. Jesus told us that if they repent as you have, they will be saved and have salvation just as it is offered to you. Yet the Kenites are the negative part of God's plan, and they will prepare the way for their father Satan, when he is cast out onto the earth [Revelation 12:7-9].

Matthew 13:40, 41 "As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so shall it be in the end of this world." [40] "The Son of man shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;" [41]

Gather and burn the tares first! This sure disproves the "Rapture Theory" doesn't it?

The true gathering of the Kenites will be after the Millennium age, when each soul will be tested after they know the truth. God the Father can read their minds and know the intent of their soul, and only He is able to judge the righteous and the wicked. That is the duty of the Creator, not the created creature. No one will slip into the kingdom of God accidentally for the intent of their thoughts and minds are completely known by God.

These Kenites received their first lasting infiltration into the tribes of Israel during the time of King Solomon. King Solomon received his instruction to build the temple, and information for the skilled labors, the metals workman and wood workers that was necessary to complete the job. Solomon used thousands of Kenite men from the land of Hemath. Most of these Kenite men and their families stayed and lived amongst the Israelites after the completion of the Temple and the kings houses. Solomon himself went into business with the king of Hemath, and within three generation the kings of Judah, Israel and Hamath [ Tyre ] their children intermarried with one another.

King Omri of Israel and King Earbaal of Hamath had their peace sealed with the marriage of Ahab and Jezebel, and through the son and daughter of Jezebel, Judah was brought under ties to the Kenites also to Jehosaphat's two children. By naming each of their children by the same names, confusion exists by many. They were not able to separate the Kenite lineage from those of Abraham.

By the time the House of Judah came out of Babylon after the captivity, the Kenites had completely taken over the priesthood. Of the more than 280 priest returning to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple and the city, not one Levite priest was amongst them. Ezra 8:15 "And I gathered them together to the river that runneth to Ahava; and there abode we in tents three days: and I viewed the people, and the priests, and found there none of the sons of Levi."

Ezra was leading this wagon train of over 43,000 people broken into twelve groups, and heading back to Jerusalem at King Cyrus' orders. The purpose was to rebuild the Temple and start the sacrifices to God as Moses had laid it out.

God said that the Levites were the only ones to stand before the altar of God to make the sacrifices. Yet when they were out on the trail Ezra finds that the entire religious order is made up of Nethinims.

The priesthood had been turned over to the Nethinims, these Oriental strangers given to service, and they would set their traditions and mixed to what would be taught in the Temple. Is it any wonder that these Kenite leaders within the temple of God wanted to kill Jesus from the start of His ministry. Jesus knew who these scribes were, and they know that Jesus was the very Son of God that would fulfill the sacrifice for the sins of many.

I Chronicles 2:55 "And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez [ Jerusalem in its unclean state]; The Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab."

These same Kenites that had their identity hidden at the time of Christ, will also have their identity hidden in these end times, Jesus talked about them in both Revelation 2:9; and 3:9 as being "those that blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not but are the synagogue of Satan." My fellow Christian, you know them by what they say, and do. When they say something that goes against what the Word of God says, they are not of God. Sure they will be in the Christian church houses, but their traditions will go against the Word of God. This is why it is up to each of us to seal the truth from God's Word away in our minds so that we will not be deceived. If you want to believe a lie, God will allow you to, for it is up to you to study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that need not to be ashamed; on that day when each of us will stand before him.
